  • Believe it or not, at one time, FMV was a major leap forward at this time. Unfortunately, the sega cd wasn't good for much else, save a great sonic game.

  • Stop! just STOP Batman! He's already deeeeaad... :(

  • SHORTEST ... LEVEL ... EVER!!!!!!

  • NOT THE CIVILIANS!

  • I don't know which Batman game's for Mega-CD is better. This one has better graphics & music and Batman Returns isn't only Batmobile/Batwing simulator.

  • The fmv animation is on point. That fight scene with Batman holding an axe is freaking insane. The violence and gore lol.

  • I never buy this until now :-( They sale here

in the Philippines back in 1994. But it's so very expensive

to this game during the Christmas rush :-(

  • Everytime there's a screen in which says "press start"..you should actually PRESS start

  • Gotham psycho?

  • that car sequence actually looks impressive even in todays standard but those cut scenes look perfect and has no equal from any games cut scenes to date imo

  • hahahahaha.... "POWEA

    ????

  • DAMMIT, PRESS START ALREADY!

  • Hahaha, when I saw Batman killing that thing with an axe and all we could see was the silhouette, I thought of fantasia and Mickey going nuts on those brooms.

  • Often I wonder why they were never able to get this animation on one of the DVD sets. I am a big fan of Batman: The Animated Series, and the animation in this game's vignettes are of even higher quality than even Mask of the Phantasm. It's shameful not everybody will know about these amazing sequences. I especially love the music here... it gives a Transformers: the movie vibe to Batman that is too cool for words.

  • that was actually kind of violent. way more violent than the series :)

  • The driving levels can't be any worse than the driving levels in "Power Rangers: SPD" for GBA (though the action levels are actually quite fun).

  • @Grimlock64 Power Ranger SPD was crap full stop anyway. None of them are as good as the original Japan and American series so therefore I stopped watching at Zeo.

  • Too bad, the game did not keep the platform stages like "Batman returns"...

  • Perfect homage to the 1960's 'Batman', in my view.: :) .; 1:13-1:35.

  • @tthomaselli2 :: Batteries to power... Turbines to speed.... You noticed that too? XD

  • @Shiirow

    Yep.

  • I think it's pretty funny that when he firsts gets the alarm, he's not working out or looking over criminal files - he's just staring into the dark and brooding. How long was he doing that before he got called?

  • about 5 minutes i think, thats one of hes thinking spots you know, he have anotherone down town, because somteimes he cant wait for the computer to call him so he goes to that tall tower stands there, thinking and waiting 4 something to happen =)

  • @that0guy08 yeah he was just standing there lookin bad ass with his cape in the wind. hehe

  • sega cd is a thing you plug into the bottom of a sega genisis that plays games on cds

  • wow! I've never played this game, but I think I will do it pretty soon. Not that the car level seens to be any good, but I think the animation worth it.

  • "Atomic battery has the power, turbines at its speed!" Brings back memories... (the ignition of Batmobile)

  • Wow... that last scene was pretty damn graphic, even if it was a plant! Batman with the axe, the look on that thing's face, the sap spraying everywhere like blood... I bet Bruce Timm, Paul Dini and co. were surprised to be able to get away with that one.

  • tell me about it O_O . I think if it were up to them and the censors were thrown out the window we'd probably be seeing alot more of that kinda stuff.

  • Definitely right there. They once said that they always got carried away with Scarface's "death" scenes in the animation show, because it was a dummy, and WB allowed them to kill of Scarface in those horrific ways, because it didn't 'involve blood'. HAHA.

  • really i dotn't think its WB's fault, its whatever corporation that control sensorship on tv.

  • You are right. It is the FCC's fault. They are the ones responsible for censoring TV shows here in the U.S.

  • lol it's "Bruce Todd: The Demon weed cutter of Gothem street"

  • Talk about deforestation :P
