Last night i did a 12 minute speedrun of The Parish on Expert on Last Man On Earth. And when i got to the finale, when i was running past the tank, Nick said "Get to the car, get to the car!" So what Rjee123456 noticed was what is common in my game, as on Dead Centre i have heard Coach shouting, "Get to the boat, people!" Anyway, in my speedrun i got 'Bridge Over Trebled Slaughter' which has been bugging me since i got the game. Once i made it in under 2:30, but the bots were on the bridge! >:(

@nikicpicha From memory I think it was a sweeping band pass filter on the audio tracks (starting with filtering out low frequencies, then shifting to filter out high frequencies). I'm not familiar with Vegas but I would assume it has a similar audio effect.

I have to say I'm surprised at the number of people that chose the shotgun as their primary weapon. When I played Last Man on Earth, I chose the AK or the M16 so I could keep the specials at a distance. I had a melee for when they got close. Interesting to me.

@Bodnoirbabe Fair point. For me it's all about ammo management. Shottie reloads individual rounds, so I can reload constantly, interrupt the reloading to shoot when I have to and try to never have an empty gun. I make do with pistols for targets at distance (crouch for better accuracy).

It's all down to personal choice. Shotgun is best in single player rushing when common are everywhere. It mows down infected that are grouped up.

It's kind of negated by the last man on earth mode since there are no commons though... so it would make M16 the best weapon (AK is not so good for accuracy when you're getting smoked).
