wow man... when i look at the polynesian brothers do their thing i can't help but to think about how similar their war dances are to that of african war dances. i'm african-american, and have studied the war dances of the Zulu and Yoroba peoples and it is very similar. The "haka" is from NZ but MANY polynesian peoples have their own war dance such as the Cibi from Fiji and the Kailao from Tonga. The term "haka" is merely used to describe them because it's the most well known.

I´m from Spain, and here we don't have anything like a war dance, so in football, basket or rugby we only hear the national anthem before the match (and there's no lyrics).

I think the NZ Haka, fijian Cibi, tongan Kailao or samoan Siva Tau are the best way to start the match. It means pride, challenge and honour. That's impressive...
