The car is mine and her name is "Christine". She is a 1978 Chevy Caprice with just a Stock LS1 from a wrecked 1998 Trans Am. She moves out pretty well for a Stock engine in an old land yatch. I am hoping to have some more work done to it at some point this year.

i bought my son a '78 caprice classic and i could only dream of doin that, it's got a 350 w/holley and drinks gas like nobodys business. I'm gonna put a quadrajet to see if it'll improve the mpg's any.
guess it doesn't require a whole hell of a lot to get daylight under the tires...hopefully when I finally get my motor in something, mine will do the same
@sonofgto but with an aluminum LS engine under the hood you shave an easy 150-200lbs vs a completely dressed all iron GEN 1 Sbc. so wheelie pullin is more doable!! Nice work btw!!

@aknowneemus holley= performance if you not trippn off fuel, Edelbrock is the way to go for mpg's
