I have a question for whoever knows the answer....it is an easy question I think. I have GTA 3, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, and GTA 4 But I don't really know the order. Is that the order? I know GTA 4 is the most recent one but I don't know the order of the first three.

@belugafishgod GTA 3 was the first one released after GTA and GTA 2. Then came Vice City, and after that, came San Andreas. GTA 4 came after various other GTA's, such as Liberty City stories and Vice City stories.

In GTA timeline, Vice City happened first, then San Andreas, and finally III. I don't know about the other games, so I don't know where they fit in. GTA 4 isn't a part of GTA III timeline.

Sorry I have to disagree, I have great memories playing this along with VC and SA. GTA 4 might be an exceptional example of a game world and graphics but to me the game play is becoming a little repetitive and the limitation in game play in GTA 4 were all too evident, a real lack of interaction. Granted I think GTA 4 will be like VC, its the first version on the new machines, I am sure the next will be much better.

Which limitation do you mean? In Gta 4 you have more freedoms than in SA or VC. And i am sure Rockstar can't do this much better.

There is much more freedom & side missions in SA, in SA they even had some role playing features like the gym or letting yourself get fat, swimming, flying planes. I felt I was going backwards in GTA 4, I have seen other comments on this as well, Rockstar obviously spent a lot of time & effort in making a stunning game world but the extra's are just not there for me, I want more role play features, more secrets, more reason to stay in the game more. Storyline concept is becoming a bore.

In my opinion the role playing feature was a joke and unnessecary. You could beat the game without high stats in shooting or driving and building up extreme muscles with 2 dumbbells or getting fat after 10 burgers...are you serious?? After you finisch SA and get 100% there is not much to do anymore unlike gta 4.

We both know all those things took longer than that, sure they were far from good role playing features but they were there. There are other things too, like large garages to store a ton of vehicles, buying a lot of property, where was that in GTA 4? Boat license, flying license. Even the street racing was much better in SA, the country race in the Ford GT was one of my favorite missions in SA. Anyway I have also said before this is the first GTA on the new platforms, the features will change.

Casino's, more shops, girlfriends, stadium challenges, just off the top of my head. In SA there was also tricks you could use to get bulletproof cars out of a couple of the missions, I like little quirks like that. Its straight forward though, I just had a better time playing SA, you might not have, so be it.
