No fucking idea...but he did...go to full screen and watch the strings...i've seen enough videos as well as played guitar long enough to know that you can't play a guitar without strings vibrating to make the sound audible. Zoom in on full screen and you'll see the strings are not vibrating. Also when he is playing the D9 chord he is sweeping far too much to actually be playing it. He also misses several strums during the song.
