Hate the wealthy? Give to the less fortunate? "Even the playing field" ?
Here are average yearly incomes of several countries:
Brazil $8,135
Venezuela $11,444
India $1,054
China $3,212
USA $45,835
To even the playing field, we must "de-develop the USA" , redistribute the wealth globally (take your income) vis cap and trade and other measures. Socialism is taking American money and giving it to poor countries.
AWESOME Vibes and DEFINITELY one of the GREATEST ways to make people conscious of the problems of po' countries, La Deuda will never end, and while the FAT CAT politicians keep on with their First World salaries, the people will keep on payin',.....thumbs up to ya stephenjudge and thankin' my pal Stewart for the GREAT share! = )
And how much did that cost to make! They seem happy enough!
Mismanagement clearly does not account for all of the capital. Large amounts have been invested successfully and generated positive results. Writing off the debt will just encourage them to borrow more. Who is to say what they can and cant do.
@606dan2580 I know u wrote that ages ago but still. if u rly think there happy having 2 live like that then u know nothing. We're learning about hunger and poverty in geography and some of the pics they showed us were so horible some ppl actuly had 2 leave. we also read what life is like there, writen by a person who lives there. it had No happyness in it at all. It waz actuly very depressing. I felt bad being able2 eat my lunch strate after the lesson.
When people say "they should not have borrowed in the forst place" they miss the point - 1. They did not borrow. It was often the undemocratic leaders that borrowed and they were often corrupt. They were only in place bewcause the west wanted them as puppets! They spent money on projects that the west wanted to push or for western built weapons! Then the poor of the country were left with the debt!
money were taken for a reason, but in the end they have to pay more then they took. It would be easier to cancel debts, then raising money to help them
thank you steward for sending.i was a missionary in haiti 8yrs ago.so awful poor the children were on the hill side where stuf was dump looking for food.women diggig for charcoa to cook rice.i know ive seen it.its all over the world.some people dont care and dont want to share.time to wake up people.some of us could end up the same way. time to unite and end poverty.thanks steward for send.lets share and pray and unite.peace and love, mary
In the actual clip at the end there is a caption saying "40 African Children died whilst you were watching this". Just shows that we do really need to Drop the Dept.
Love the video! It's great to see people coming together and committing to help alleviate global poverty. I'd also like to see the US presidential candidates talking about global development issues. Just a few days ago, Obama released a strategy document explaining how he intends to improve US security through foreign policy. I hope all the candidates show such a commitment to global development. What do you think?

Its a great tragedy that the poorer countries
will never be able to pay off these debts but
how do their governments afford to buy armaments
We in the U.K have huge debts, its a very vicious circle and unfortunately its always the poorer people
who suffer.5*....Barbara
