Everyone needs to stop breeding, then there won't be a need to depopulate. @Daraymann True but not all the provision of Codex have been enforced, they are slowly phasing the regulation into the legal system. Again true immigration was important and i say "Was" but today as you say populations are increasing then would it be prudent to reduce population by stopping immigration?
I need to look into depopulation more to see if they are "not doing a good job" I will not take your word for it, but the last time i checked fertility rates have been decreasing.

as far as growing your own food, my friend's mom has a small garden in her back yard that grows enough food for herself, and so far the government hasn't arrived to stamp it out.

@Jherihelio And I can still walk to my nearest food coop, or even Safeway and get raw, organic, and free-range food. Farmers markets still exist, I can buy nutritious food, and even nutritional suppliments of all types, and nothing seems to have changed 8 months later.

As far as "acid rain" for example, if you are anywhere near the gulf oil gusher, when the hurricane seaon comes and drives all of those nasty chemicals inland via rain then that will not be good for ones crops. I just used the term acid rain. I believe it's been proven that pollutants can be brought down out of the atmosphere via rain.
There's no need for insults.

Everyone needs to stop breeding, then there won't be a need to depopulate. There should be mandatory birth control up until a person is married, and then they need to pass a series of tests to make sure they are fit parents pychologically, mentally, and financially. The gene pool needs a life guard.

Common Sense: If you invent antibiotics, improved medications and medical practices to increase the survival and longevity of humans, WITHOUT then managing the result - then you will have OVERPOPULATION.
