Get one Sundown Nightshade 12-18", put about 1500RMS to it, upgrade the big 3, get a batt for the back, higher output alt, Screw a capacitor, if you upgrade the big 3, you'll notice a LOT less light dimming. Plus it's cheaper to get 25 ft of 4AWG wiring to upgrade your grounds. I have one nightshade 12 on 1600WRMS, and I'm louder than most people around that rushed and bought 4 cheap 15's. Just some food for thought.
dude sounds ok but u need to have ur subs facing the trunk....theyl hit and sound like real clean bass n ur car....and put some peel n seal in the trunk and doors , it will be like adding another amp!
not to bad but fix the raddle....when running high end auido ur looking for the sound not the raddle lol.
Stock deck and rattles like hell. Sure you can't hear it from the inside. But know one wants to hear that godawful rattle from the outside either. It's way lame. This is a good example of someone being in to big a hurry to get their slump going. Wait, save money and do it right. Or at least don't put this on youtube. Hyundai...probably half the problem. Get a better whip
Cool system but whats with the stock cd deck? Plus the trunk rattles like crazy making you look like a retard. Hopefully in the past 2 years you've improved this set up.
the one guy has a point facing them towards the back when they are in a trunk is better for sound quality, the bass actually moves from the back of the box for deeper bass, or at least thats what ive found to be good.
you should dyno mat the trunk it would reduce the ratleing of the trunk like crazy i have a 200 cadilac dts and it used rattle like a bitch not anymore though...i have 2 fozgate 12" subs fozgate amp and a clarion headset shit is clear oh yea and the equalizer...
Ive got an Accent as well, Fiberglass from a local hardware shop will DRAMATICALLY reduce rattle. ive got 2 12"s and 1 15" on a total of 3160w and it only rattles a Tiny bit on max.
not a bad set up man, but ya if u change the possition of the cap and amp, and face teh speakers themselves to the back of the car, it would sound better inside. At least from what i have experimented with it does. Unless u have a front vented box then faceing them to the front of the car with seats down would take your breath away. anyway nice vid, upload more dude.
@jacobbz08 Not always. If its a hatchback accent, you'll want them facing up. Problem with facing the license plate with a small trunk, you don't have any air space for the sub to breathe. I drive a 2008 hatch with a kicker cvx 15 in a HUGE ported box and it always is going to face the roof

@TheMrblack21 haha. You think he's going for high end audio? Factory head unit? Those crappy subs? I think not. Polk and Focal are high end.

its not about how much your car shakes or trunk shakes, its about your loud your bass are.

face your subs to the licenses plater you making the SQ bad pointing them up. They will get louder facing the rear also.
jacobbz08 2 years ago
I would, but if you see how the amp and cap's on the box it makes it too tall to fit...
TheCameraCollector 2 years ago
No. put your amp and cap on the side of the box or the back.
jacobbz08 2 years ago
So, how do you mean the sound quality would be better?
TheCameraCollector 2 years ago
The sound waves disperse differently and increase the "BASS" sound inside the car.
