I have not played LOTRO yet, am thinking of trying it out...but quick question, is Rift supposed to be an endgame "raid" dungeon? Wasn't sure how they do it in Lotr

Yeah, it's a 12-person raid. The other raid, Helegrod, is 24-person. There are also two very long 6-person instances that some consider to be raids.
