@natashahelena1 i guess this song is irish...but i doubt whether this is the same song used for swing dance or not....and i see swing dance in this movie....
This is one of my favorite scenes.I just feel like a little kid watching Cinderella and Little Mermaid and all the old ones watching it!Long live Tangled!
@sl3dge78 i dont know anything quite like this, but i know that almost all the music from How to Train Your Dragon is also soooo amzing. same type of feel. composer john powell.
@disneyluverrr Yes it did, but this was written by... hold on.... Alan Menken. Yes, indeedy.
Totally agree with you though, How to Train your Dragon was brilliant. I just like this because it has a very British Isles feel to it, despite my firm belief that this whole movie takes place in Italy... oh well.
@Toxophlilus I looked it up to see where this takes place, and even though it's not entirely determined, it's assumed Germany or somewhere in that Gaulic region since 1) Rapunzel takes place in Germany in the original tales and 2) the men in the tavern are all in Gaulic garb
@niyazmather That is the language traditionally spoken in Ireland. They mostly speak English now, of course, but a lot of people there understand or speak one or both.
@Toxophlilus I think it's in Italy too. Mostly because I love Italy and this movie and Flynn said the party lasted a week and in the past (idk about present) most celebrations lasted a week.
@JenniferandAndrew really??? how? I mean, what kinds of steps did you do? sounds like a really fun piece to dance to. i've never tried it. maybe i will.
This is a great song, captures what kind of Era this is in.

can somebody help me out?
niyazmather 5 months ago
@natashahelena1 Its too slow to be an Irish dance, it would be more inspired by the dances from central Europe and England.
