Lich is a support hero, he does not need damage items or any items for that matter to do his job (get a good ult). Mechanism is a perfect item to support your team, since lich has mana regen from his 3rd skill, mek makes him a walking fountain ( hp + mana available on cooldown).

A Pro Build on lich is:

-Mechanism

-Phaseboots

-Blink Dagger (easier to land ult and juke)

-Guinsoo (if farmed)

THIS is NOT that great, first, i see no beyond godlike, Hello? just 2 day i got a quadkill with ulti (duh i know its still called a tripplekill) and for the item build -shiva -skadi -scepter -meka -bot -assault curiass walking around with 40+ armor is hilarious try geting a doublekill with frost nova, its epic
