I had problems with overnight prints as well. They sent my order out to me and it was sent back after 3 delivery attempts. (Not their fault). In order to have it resent, they required me to pay for shipping again (which I did). After a week, my order said I needed to pay shipping again (a 3rd time), I checked my bank account, the additional shipping had already deducted from my account... I never used them again.
You seem like a nice person and I appreciate that you fairly give them credit for what they have done well for you. However, I have to say I've used OP for years to print business cards, postcards for art openings, and brochures. I have been very pleased. One time I made a text error and they gave me a hefty discount on my replacement order. They have always arrived within 7 days without expediting. Best of luck in finding the right printer for your company's needs.
When I was a young graphic designer I used them and they missed nearly 50% of the time. The colors were always inconsistent and I rarely got people on the phone. Files were received late, and I had to raise holy hell to send another batch. They arent worth the headache.
Don't fall for their "sale" prices promoted in their emails. They are luring you in with a great price and then threaten to sit on the order unless you pay extra to "exptdite" it. Otherwise it will take three-plus weeks to get something printed. Why can't companies just do business honestly and straighforward.
OvernightPrinting has really gotten bad recently. I used to over lost of postcareds and such from them and were pretty happy until recently. They now put a hold on any orders that don't pay the extra fees. I ordered business cards over a weekago and even got an email indicating that they would be sent to print within 24 hours. It has been a week and when I called today, the order was still waiting to print with not timetable when it would happen. Customer service is non-existent.
I would think overnight prints means....they print overnight... it doesnt say overnight print and ship. As far as the other shipping problems, that is their fault. Use Gotprint.com from now on.
I have used OVernight Prints on many occasions for post cards and folded sell sheets. I use them because they are fast and economical. I know literature doesn't get printed overnight and shipped the next day. It takes time. Hire someone who has experience and has done this before. It is too easy to complain about someone else; take some responsibility for not knowing what you were doing.
I have used them many times and only had one issue with the darkness of a photo. They reprinted the cards and sent them on to me. Shipping does take awhile for me as I am across the country in TN from them. Overall, I think they are a good company. Sorry you had issues with them.
I use them all the time and although I did notice their shipping takes forever, it was never an issue with me. What WAS an issue was that I got sucked into buying business card magnets as an add on. I paid good money for 500 of two different cards and even though the cards came out fine, the magnets were not only the cheapest, thinnest piece of garbage I've ever seen, they were cut all wrong and completely unacceptable. They never resolved my issue and I won't use them any more.
LOL the name of the site is mis-leading... Used their service was very happy with the result but i suppose if u need your stuff printed sooner you could use your local printers. I just found them to be a hell of a lot cheaper and wasn't really worried about the turn around time. Sucks you paid extra and didn't get them sooner! Thats not on!
Overnight Prints business cards are excellent, IF they get your order correct, which for me is about 1/2 the time.
I complained about a white spot on my card obscuring my email address and that the images were way too dark and not like the proof images they had emailed to me.
They admitted an "out of gamut error" and offered a 50% in-store credit to reprint my cards. I had paid with AMERICAN EXPRESS. I contested the charge and got a full credit on my bill from AE.
They are awful! I WILL NEVER ORDER BUSINESS CARDS FROM THEM AGAIN! I ORDERED THE FASTEST SHIPPING (3 DAYS) AND IT'S BEEN 12! I CANCELLED MY ORDER, I HAD TO BECAUSE I'M IN A RUSH TO GET CARDS FOR THE 11TH.
I just ordered from them for the first time because they are the only company online that ships business cards for under $10...I had a coupon code for 250 free. They said they will ship by the 17th so I hope that's true. I need them by the 10th.
Ugh. I'm in the same boat. i ordered my business cards July 31st and they are still waiting to be printed (today is August 14). Boo. I can understand that shipping times are beyond their control, but to not even have the cards printed within two weeks is a joke.
I use to work for them, we give you the round around. When we put you on hold to "do" something we just make you wait. Sometimes reps will not reprint, or note your account. It was a crap-shoot place to work, fresh outta school but it was all I could get at the time. They never drug tested so you better believe it we had drug users handling your orders. So, of course. Then whoever asked for a pay raise besides 90 days, was cut loose. They took advantage of good employees.
Totally agree they suck! Ordered 2500 postcards from them and paid for rush service. They showed up late and were improperly cut. Called and they promised to reprint. 8 working days in a row I called for tracking number only to be told my overnight air item didn't go out as promised. When I finally got them a month after I ordered my rush order the reprint quality was shit again! This time they weren't cut off but my tourquoise logo became royal blue! Don't use them!

The business cards they sent me were improperly cut and there was ink from another print job at the edges of half of my business cards. On top of this the template they give you is useless. The inner safe zone boundary simply means that they will crop right up to that line. So you need to give it even more space than the inner most boundaries. Why on earth would you have a template with both an outer boundary AND an inner boundary if the outer boundary does not mean anything????
I wish I had had watched this before I ordered from them. I will agree with you that they are not timely. I ordered bus. cards 3 day shipping and they showed up 8 days later. I then ordered next day delivery to try and get a second set in time and once again it showed up the week later. Quality is fine but customer service is terrible. They will just tell you whatever you want to hear with no follow through.
I personally use Overnight Prints for my business cards and haven't had any problems, but I never needed things ASAP either. I don't know why people are so mean to the poster of this video-I can understand his complaint-with a name like "Overnight Prints", you expect um, overnight prints!
And for you guys who are making rude remarks, for one thing, his video is not unprofessional, you are for using foul, unclean language!
I appreciate feedback, so I thank him for posting it
I own a design firm that does contract work for a few very well known brands (packaging, environmental design, identity, etc). One of my smaller clients needed some post cards printed asap and on a tight budget. The quality was AWFUL. I know they don't proof their work, but I cannot understand how they could let this type of work out the door. Colors were off, photography by professional studio looked like it was taken with a cell phone camera.
Mr. Schrock speaks the truth. I had a similar experience with ordering custom Christmas cards. I ordered a "test batch" of cards on Dec. 6, today is the 17th - no cards. Guess who's going to Kinkos later today? Thanks for listening.
They should change their name to "Overnight Prints...If We Feel Like It". I just ordered postcards and magnets and both did not make it in time for a convention for which I spent well over $1,000 to attend. I spent 3 days working with a manager to get the products force shipped and the bumbling incompetent folks couldn't get it done. No more Overnight Prints for me.
Try going down to your local printer and getting that kind of price and quality. This Guy is such a cheap ass whining douche. Does he work for Vista? I think so.
Wow. I got great service from this company. Printed 100 postcards and the first run was a bit pale--so they ran them again for me at no extra charge. I'm very happy with their work and no Kinko's can touch the quality. I'm a graphic artist (18 yrs in the biz) and I think it was well worth the wait. Next time don't wait until the last minute for your print jobs. That was YOUR mistake. Not overnight prints.
Wow, a lot of jackasses replied to this video. People - just because you, your friend, your friend's mom had flawless service, doesn't mean a dime. If 10% of the time, they DO NOT DELIVER.. its worth knowing about. Simple as that. You're taking a risk by going with this company. I haven't had such severe problems, but I HAVE made a mental not EACH (of the two) times I ordered with them - that I MIGHT want to go with another company the next time because of their POOR SERVICE. Only takes once.
I have had nothing but great results with this company. I had cards made and the color was true and service fine. My girlfriend is an Art Director and she has used them repeatedly with good results. This guy sounds like a bad apple with little experience to me.
I have used this company and have been more than satisfied, but then I am a designer who knows that you ALWAYS need to do things ahead of time and leave lots of time for shipping and misprinting issues!
next time read the terms and conditions before ordering, I did and knew exactly what I was getting into, the company has delivered each time as I expected - never overnight, but always on time. Just because the company's name is overnight printing doesn't mean an order is overnight, anyone with 3 years of business experience and has more than 1/2 a brain knows that. Sounds like sour grapes to me, anyone who uses the Internet as a bully pulpit when the actual fault is their own is pretty shady.
ttpoker, in this video the man said they've waited eight days for these cards and they still have not been shipped. That is not sour grapes, it's bad business on OP's part. Plus, his business cards were a week late (:38). How is this his fault? How is this sour grapes? How is this a bully plupit? How is this shady? He's sounding pretty patient to me. You, on the other hand, sound like you didn't pay attention well enough.
I have used them many times and everything was satisfactory. If there was an issue they corrected. Video complaint makes you look like a loser. Get some balls and work it out with Overnight prints.
I've ordered a few times and received them in a timely manner, but half the box was miscut?!?! So our website was half missing and it looked like crap no less. A client asked if I printed them myself....nice! I of course didn't notice the miscuts until I got to them a month later, OP said I had to tell them within 48 hours to get a credit. I never thought of personally inspecting every card upon receipt. Whatever...A name is in order - Overrated Prints
We too had an issue. Our biz cards arrived in a timely manner, but were misprinted. They cut off half of our info, and printed the printer's marks. DOH! We called to get a reprint. They said they would ship them via the same method which we paid. Today we finally got our cards...along with cards for ANOTHER business we don't own. OUCH! Fortunately for him, I emailed and said I would ship his cards. They made it right, but do not use for time sensitive materials.
Sorry you had problems with OP. I've ordered a few items from them myself and the quality & service was really good. The phone support was superb. I was fortunate enough to speak to 3 different people there who were very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. I'm a designer by trade so it's refreshing to deal with people who know what they're talking about. All printers have some issues from time to time. Give them another chance. They might do better next time.
OMG!!! you sound very stupid!!!! for people like you that destroy the reputation of every single company with their nonsense comments, America is facing this financial situation. HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT RETURNING BOOMERANGS? THE SAME THING WITH ECONOMY: YOU AFFECT AND AT THE END YOU WILL BE AFFECTED IN THE SAME WAY!!!!!
This video is 100% accurate. DO NOT rely on anything OP tells you via web OR customer service. Against my better judgement, I use overnight prints again for a print job 1 week in advance of European travel. Customer service swore to an arrival date which is now 2 days past and I am without cards again. DO NOT rely on this company for anything timely. what should have cost $39 will now cost $180 because of the shipping my office will have to pay to send these to me in Europe.
Thor created this video for financial reasons. Overnight Prints is just as good as any other online printing company. Thor simply wants you to attack Overnightprints because this may convince you not to buy from them and subsequently then buy from him.
I had very similar problems. When the cards arrived it was too late! The postcards were actually very different colors and therefore unreadable. They said that I would need to send everything back before I would get a refund and reprint, but then since I had handed out a few of the unreadable cards they would not do a refund or reprint at all.
Yup they USE to be very good... then I believe they got bought out and then split the printing in multiple locations, their offices also split up... they use to be (and partly still are) in Tustin, CA but they use out of state printers... how dumb is that... USE to be able to pick things up willcall so I could save the shipping time and actually get jobs to my clients overnight... yet my only complaint was they charged shipping even if you willcalled...
also...I'm a print broker and use many printers to offer my clients the best products at the best times and prices... And local customers, I'll even deliver free myself... its called customer service - more companies need to remember - the customer is your business - without them you are in the unemployment line.
AWFUL COMPANY! I ordered premium and digital business cards and there is no difference. I spoke with a representative who said she would replace them for me. Two weeks later I received nothing. I call again and the supervisor I speak with blatantly ignores the previous request and does not replace my order. Absolute disgrace of a company!
Hey. I totally understand your feeling. It happened to me the very first time I ordered the invitations fro my Grand Opening party. I paid the extra money to get it rushed and I got them after 5 days. Thank God I still had time, but I wrote an e-mail to them and they responded with a 10% coupon and the refund for the extra money we paid.
I have to say that after that try again with no complains. They usually do a good job.
Cards received non glossy when should have been glossy. Customer service refused to help first day, I requested a transfer and was hung up on. Called back the second day and got someone in a better mood who offered a free reprint and had me print a UPS label to send back the non glossy batch. GORGEOUS product, I hope the glossy batch comes through in time and without error! If it does I plan on using this company a LOT more, quality can't be beat for the price!!!
Help me understand. Do you own a printing company or a friend or neighbor? Why do you bash the competition on the internet? Who are you trying to hurt? I understand they employ a lot of people. If you were honest you would use an organization like the BBB to quietly resolve your issues.
I have purchased tens of thousands of cards from O/P with no problems over the past 5 years. So it is difficult to trust what you say.
I run a business and was looking for the owner to contact, but this will have to do. Have made numerous orders, but we just made our last. They continue to get worst in all areas of timeliness, service & quality. Price is competive, but not worth it. Kind of like a Walmart.
2 weeks still no order of postcards and no returned emails about order! Ordered from another company after this and have already received that one and they promise longer processing. Go figure?
Me too! I've used them many times and have always been satisfied. The one time they screwed an order up, they promptly reprinted the order, no questions asked, and reshipped me the replacements. Their quality is simply the best when it comes to price and turnaround times. Go ahead, try to find someone that beats their combination - you can't.
i also forgot to point out that the site has clear TOS that explains how overnight prints works, and at no point in the site guarentees overnight shipping. Instead of pointing fingers, why not start by preparing for your trips in advance and getting your cards printed instead of last minute. Thats just bad business practice on your end. I avoid doing business with companies that handle small tasks like this last minute.
Why do I have this funny feeling you happen to work for the absolute joke of a company that is Overnight Prints, and ran across this video via a g00gle search? I am in the sign and printing industry and can verify (both from myself and many other of my peers) that Overnight Prints is hands down the worst printing company in the industry.... in regards to customer service and promptness. I'd even stoop to using VistaPrint before ever trying OP again.....
Dont work for them. I do however do private high end b-card design. I have never had any problems getting my clients their cards for what they need them for. I have also tryed both local and other online printers, and for the PRICE there is no better quality or color match for the type of cards I make. There is much better if you're willing to fork over the money, but they wont give you any overnight shipping either. Good printing is an art and if you're in the industry, you already know that.
I'd also like to point out that the big complaint is about CS so i'll explain why I dont gripe about that. My regular UPS ground package, shipped friday, showed up here wednesday, was ordered thursday. Mind you 2 of those days UPS doesnt move packages in its system. They have always gotten my stuff right out the door.
Overnight prints is not the way to go with time stuff as mentioned in the vid, but if you're looking for damn crystal clear prints, the quality is top notch. In the video you said something about saturday UPS. They do not have a pickup saturday is what they said, not that UPS doesnt do shipping. They didnt want to drive to a UPS drop center for you. However, of all the hundreds of cards we've ordered, average turn around is 5 days with UPS ground and proirity printing.
I find it completely distressing that our society has come to a point of laying blame on anyone else for anything under the sun instead of taking self-responsibility. EVERYONE KNOWS that web-ordering requires a little more leg work to get the business specifics by READING the site since you don't have a human in front of you reading the same information to you. I went to this website and read through the Terms of Service. Did you?
OverNight prints is HORRIBLE. I paid EXTRA for 2 day air, they were late, so they offered to re-route them to NY at my hotel. My cards NEVER arrived. They told me it would guaranteed be there by friday. By Mon. I was outta NY. Overnight prints said they'd re-routed them again for me. I found out they never did. Then, they said it was my problem, and would no longer help. Now I have to pay the hotel to try to get my cards back to me. If they don't show up, I just wasted over 65$ to OVprints!
Have done several printings with Overnight Printing - and while I agree it takes more than a day - they've always delivered on the scheduled date. You can't match the quality for the price (less than $500 total, including rush shipping for 4c, two-side brochures, with full bleeds on all sides).
Order from Overnight Prints if you want a big headache! This company has bad "customer service" that will hang up on you after waiting on hold for 15m. You won't be able to get ahold of a supervisor so don't try. If you'd like to send your money to me directly, I can throw it away for you and you will have the same experience that you will have with Overnight Prints.
I am a graphic artist & I have a lot of experience with printers. If you want quick service, you need to find a small commercial printer in your neighborhood. You would be surprised how quick they can turn around a job for you if you need it quick--and they have an opening on the press. You can pick it up from them --no shipping and they call you when it's done. Online can be great but it's not always the best choice.
yep same I am so done with these guys.. so many problems.. and I went back a couple times thinking the same thing.. I'll use a stamp carved out a potato next time.
Super Kudos to you my friend, you captured the frustration, the feelings, the stress perfectly. I too LOVE their product, get rave comments and the cards actually get me deals/gigs. I have learned tho, not joking - to order stuff a month or more in advance. Early on I did suggest they call the company "Over Fortnight Prints" or "Monthly Prints" which they did enjoy. I wish I could get a list of the gear they use and make my own. And make some for you guys, especially for Thor! Great post - thx!
My issue with Overnight Prints has now been resolved. I received my cards today and they all look great. This is not an apology to the company because nothing was being done until the BBB intervened, but I do thank OP for their speedy compliance.
Jorfavargas, the only to get any action at all seems to be filing a complaint with the BBB. they did contact me, but the issue is still far from resolved and they have yet to make good on their promise to the BBB. Pleas contact them so the public can be informed. good luck.
Why? For all the products I've had printed which include business cards, postcards, flyers, stationary and invitations, ALL had a few scratches, differences in color from stack to stack, poor cutting on some occasions and paper is NOT durable. Shop around and ASK for samples.
Well, I sent an e-mail, called and had to wait a few days for a response. By now I had sent another e-mail and sent the SAME file to another printer who printed the colors correctly. I get an e-mail today telling me it was my fault, that they responded properly and will notify me if I QUALIFY for a refund, or store credit. Credit? This is the second job I've had to send back. NOT RELIABLE AT ALL and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They seem to not be at fault when it comes to mistakes.
Don't name the company OVERNIGHT, if you take your sweet time doing the job.
I have used Overnight Prints for a while now and had been pretty satisfied up until my last order. I had some invitations that needed to be done in about 5 days from the the date the file was sent. I chose the 2 day air option so they would get there in time. They came back with the wrong colors even though I had used the same exact process and swatch books for previous orders. Continued:
Continued: I have found numerous complaints, including your blog. I urge anyone who has had trouble with with this company to blog or post in order to warn others to be careful when patronizing Overnight Prints. Also, clicking complaint links multiple times so they show up on the first search engine page might not be a bad idea. Be warned and warn others about this company. Tomorrow I will be counting and examining every card before contacting customer service. Thank you for posting this video.
Update: After watching this video and checking out other complaints on the web, I felt I should give my order a closer look. I found numerous color inconsistantcies including at least one card that was completely blank. I used one of their backgrounds (dark blue on the left fading to a lighter blue on the right with a white cord curved across). Some were almost white on the right side sometimes with a reddish tint. At least one card was almost completely white with a reddish tint on the left.
I agree. I recently ordered 1000 business cards and they do not look quite the way I designed them. My name is hideously large and off center (slightly to the left). The rest of the card looks great though. Also, regular ground shipping is expensive and slow (they don't inform you of shipping costs until you are ready to check out). Now I am stuck with 1000 ugly cards. I will never use them again.
I have been very happy with Overnight prints and I will use them in the future. I am disappointed that this video comes up in the google search as Overnight prints is my printer of choice
DITTO!! I ordered business cards back in November and they said that my photo's did not upload properly even though I had used their template and resent 3 times. I still have no cards. Overnight Prints SUCK!!!!!
I was charged 3 times for the same cards. I tried and tried to work with them but they were arrogant and wouldn't budge. I have to use my "credit" with them to get back some of what I'm out (but of course they still make on that because they only return in money what it takes to print the job). I will never use Overnight again. They are not cheaper if they make mistakes that cost me so much money!
Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video to help other people out! I really, really appreciate it. You had nothing to gain by it and didn't have to do it.
I am sorry to hear about your experience, but or the sake of overnightprints I actually had a really good experience with them. I ordered 15,000 fliers for an event of mine and got them in 3 days. Out of all 15,000 only 3 were misprinted (there was variance in the tonality of some colors, may make a difference for some). I was very impressed with the overall quality and speediness of their service.
My concern with them is more about lack of consistency with color printing and even trimming - it does seem that they have quality control issues. If your cards came out beautifully, consider yourself LUCKY.
If you use them as a wholesaler be very careful. They advertise they do not put their name on the product like some companies do. This is true. They put their name on the outside of the box with the invoice number.
I called on an old customer to see if they wanted to reorder. She said "Oh we just ordered from the factory". I think Overnight hopes for this. Lesson: Take advantage of the free shipping and mail them to yourself. Spend the extra for postage it will payoff in the long run.
good video and a good idea. I will keep this in mind. I use them for my postcards and busn cards and like you said if you aren't in a rush they product is good, maybe they should just change the name of their company.
I agree they do great work but overnight is a big joke. I had to stop doing business with them for misadvertisement. If you ever get a chance try counting your items you order, I had 3 incidents where they have cheated me out of a few business cards in the quantity of 250 - 1000, yes I counted them reason being they count their money,..so I have to count my merchandise. They will not make-up the difference. Go figure!
I ordered from them and they did an excellent job! I got the prints (500 post cards) in about 3 days. Don't know what you ran into but I am sure it is not ordinary business. Every business makes mistakes - have you forgotten? They are HUMAN just like you and I.
Hey, Who ever RikkiKeith is, i have no idea who wrote that i don't even remember typing that, so u need to chill down and stop jumping on me and u should have adressed the in a different way. So don't came at me like that and i have never ever watched this video before, someone must have watched on me name and made it seem like me. So calm Down
overnight prints is a horrible company. they regularly deceive customers - your postcards were probably not even printed, which is why they couldn't ship them. they did this to me - my order status said 'printing complete' for 5 days, but it wasn't until I called to check on the shipment that I found that they actually WEREN'T printed at all! The customer service rep said it happens all the time ... STAY AWAY FROM OVERNIGHT PRINTS!!
They refused to help and offered me 10% discount on my next order. But if you search their name+coupon with google you get much better offers to their hopeful customers, proving that they DO NOT CARE if you've already paid them.
Update: I finally got a hold of someone after my third phone call on three different days. She talked over me and refused to send me a UPS label to return their shotty product. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I see they have a lot of complaints there and on Google. I wish I would have investigated instead of being "Wowed" by their great SALES reps. Remember...if their customer service is not great, neither will be your experience.

I CANCELLED MY ORDER, I HAD TO BECAUSE I'M IN A RUSH TO GET CARDS FOR THE 11TH.
schnurren 1 year ago

Don't use them!

schnurren 1 year ago
The business cards they sent me were improperly cut and there was ink from another print job at the edges of half of my business cards. On top of this the template they give you is useless. The inner safe zone boundary simply means that they will crop right up to that line. So you need to give it even more space than the inner most boundaries. Why on earth would you have a template with both an outer boundary AND an inner boundary if the outer boundary does not mean anything????
drspiff 1 year ago

Thanks for listening.
janesez22 2 years ago
They should change their name to "Overnight Prints...If We Feel Like It". I just ordered postcards and magnets and both did not make it in time for a convention for which I spent well over $1,000 to attend. I spent 3 days working with a manager to get the products force shipped and the bumbling incompetent folks couldn't get it done. No more Overnight Prints for me.

Not overnight prints.

i have also used this company many times and never had an issue with either their service, time frames, or quality.
Their product is great and they are very competitively priced.
Printers are renowned for late deliveries, anyone in business knows this. I suggest you allow for this like everyone else does.
I cant believe you wasted your time to make this video; you're the one who made the error by running such tight timeframes - school boy error.

@milluminato Your wisdom is probably indispensable, but that still doesn't excuse a company making outright lies about their service.

next time read the terms and conditions before ordering, I did and knew exactly what I was getting into, the company has delivered each time as I expected - never overnight, but always on time. Just because the company's name is overnight printing doesn't mean an order is overnight, anyone with 3 years of business experience and has more than 1/2 a brain knows that. Sounds like sour grapes to me, anyone who uses the Internet as a bully pulpit when the actual fault is their own is pretty shady.
ttpoker 2 years ago
ttpoker, in this video the man said they've waited eight days for these cards and they still have not been shipped.

Whatever...A name is in order - Overrated Prints
reinpro 2 years ago
We too had an issue. Our biz cards arrived in a timely manner, but were misprinted. They cut off half of our info, and printed the printer's marks. DOH! We called to get a reprint. They said they would ship them via the same method which we paid. Today we finally got our cards...along with cards for ANOTHER business we don't own. OUCH! Fortunately for him, I emailed and said I would ship his cards. They made it right, but do not use for time sensitive materials.
devilsinthedetails 2 years ago
Sorry you had problems with OP. I've ordered a few items from them myself and the quality & service was really good. The phone support was superb. I was fortunate enough to speak to 3 different people there who were very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. I'm a designer by trade so it's refreshing to deal with people who know what they're talking about. All printers have some issues from time to time. Give them another chance. They might do better next time.

Thor, come on, don't be a stooge! you are not as stupid as you make yourself out to be on this clip.

Thor created this video for financial reasons. Overnight Prints is just as good as any other online printing company. Thor simply wants you to attack Overnightprints because this may convince you not to buy from them and subsequently then buy from him.
guitarsend 2 years ago
I had very similar problems. When the cards arrived it was too late! The postcards were actually very different colors and therefore unreadable. They said that I would need to send everything back before I would get a refund and reprint, but then since I had handed out a few of the unreadable cards they would not do a refund or reprint at all.
finofino1234 2 years ago
Yup they USE to be very good... then I believe they got bought out and then split the printing in multiple locations, their offices also split up... they use to be (and partly still are) in Tustin, CA but they use out of state printers... how dumb is that... USE to be able to pick things up willcall so I could save the shipping time and actually get jobs to my clients overnight... yet my only complaint was they charged shipping even if you willcalled...

I run a business and was looking for the owner to contact, but this will have to do. Have made numerous orders, but we just made our last. They continue to get worst in all areas of timeliness, service & quality. Price is competive, but not worth it. Kind of like a Walmart.

i also forgot to point out that the site has clear TOS that explains how overnight prints works, and at no point in the site guarentees overnight shipping.

Dont work for them. I do however do private high end b-card design. I have never had any problems getting my clients their cards for what they need them for. I have also tryed both local and other online printers, and for the PRICE there is no better quality or color match for the type of cards I make. There is much better if you're willing to fork over the money, but they wont give you any overnight shipping either. Good printing is an art and if you're in the industry, you already know that.
RubberDucky316 2 years ago
I'd also like to point out that the big complaint is about CS so i'll explain why I dont gripe about that. My regular UPS ground package, shipped friday, showed up here wednesday, was ordered thursday. Mind you 2 of those days UPS doesnt move packages in its system. They have always gotten my stuff right out the door.
RubberDucky316 2 years ago
Overnight prints is not the way to go with time stuff as mentioned in the vid, but if you're looking for damn crystal clear prints, the quality is top notch. In the video you said something about saturday UPS. They do not have a pickup saturday is what they said, not that UPS doesnt do shipping. They didnt want to drive to a UPS drop center for you. However, of all the hundreds of cards we've ordered, average turn around is 5 days with UPS ground and proirity printing.

Last part:
Quality: 7 out of 10
Why? For all the products I've had printed which include business cards, postcards, flyers, stationary and invitations, ALL had a few scratches, differences in color from stack to stack, poor cutting on some occasions and paper is NOT durable. Shop around and ASK for samples.
jorfravargas 3 years ago 2
Please file a a complaint with the BBB as this seems to be the only way to get them to respond.
As consumers, we all need to try and bring some ethics to this awful company.
trythelandcrab 3 years ago
Well, I sent an e-mail, called and had to wait a few days for a response. By now I had sent another e-mail and sent the SAME file to another printer who printed the colors correctly. I get an e-mail today telling me it was my fault, that they responded properly and will notify me if I QUALIFY for a refund, or store credit. Credit? This is the second job I've had to send back. NOT RELIABLE AT ALL and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They seem to not be at fault when it comes to mistakes.

AGREED: NOTHING TIME SENSITIVE!

Thank you for posting this video.
trythelandcrab 3 years ago

I was charged 3 times for the same cards. I tried and tried to work with them but they were arrogant and wouldn't budge.

I used them and they did a horrible job on about 2 sets of cards out of 4 sets ordered. I have yet to receive a phone call from them for the reprint.
We are looking for a new printing company now.
