  • If we fight them innocents die, possibly by hundred of thousands. And they can't stand up to fight since they are to weak to fight.

You have to help them without existing, which countries can't do. And no private group would ever help since in order to help you would be breaking a massive amount of laws and make no money but loss money, not to mention people involved have to be in it knowing they are risking their lives for no gain for them.

  • The boy at 0:46 is 15 years old. Huh!

  • it's not that hard to say "yes" to a decent offer...

  • Only one thing can solve this problem. Kill those whoe run this country, replace by open minded people

  • north korea cant last forever.

  • id like to give kinn and his son a giant rice bullet ritght up his fat ass

  • Gee let us help those kids..

  • I watched other documentary about ex-prisoners from NK that had managed to escape.THAT is a horror.People in labour-camps are so hungry they eat each other.A guy said he knew a man that ate a child-he skinned him,ate his legs and arms and threw away his head.Horrible.Women are regularly raped and eat some poisonous plants to have an abortion. If they are lucky they eat rats, especially little unborn rats that they take out from a pregnat rat.People have no hair and teeth. They spend years like that

  • What a DUMB country

  • I see a big problem being NK is not really farmland material

  • Welcome to North Korea ladies and gentlemen, where the maggots feast and the people starve!!

  • i feel sad after watching this doc, expecially sad for the kids....

  • Bullshit propaganda...UN is the right hand of USA. They talk for starvation so they can discredit DPRK and to manipulate all of us to aprove their invasion plans. The same countries that cry for the starving children spread uranium in Yugoslavia, masacred iraq, afganistan, vietnam etc .. They press for full scale embargo, and then they come as the sisters of mercy to bring help. Hypocrites go to hell! I say: Solidarity to DPRK and their heroic people! Stay away from Korean peninsula!

  • @TermaOsEdo wow your an idiot.

  • Kim Jung iLL is the only FAT person in N Korea

  • @sasktank and so need to get rid of him , why have we not , sick waste of space , him and his son , truly the gross meter inso all over them , i hope they burn in hell for there greed

  • @TheatricalRemote your wish has been granted the bastard kim jong il is dead now. hopefully his son is soon to follow. these people deserve better.

  • Oh, God forbid that Kim Jung Ill sees himself for the pyshcotic, egotisiscal, glutonous, corrupt bastard that he is. One of these days the truth will hit him hard like a ton of bricks. As usual he's hidding behind his entourage like the gutless coward that he is completely ignoring the fact that he has brainwashed these people into thinking he is all powerfull and that "you should be happy that you live here and nowhere else".

  • "North Korea can spend enough to launch a nuke that can just make it to Hawaii but, they can't even lift a finger to save their children from starving to death! Do the math: children are your future and without them your future is lost! Kiss my ass, Kim Jong Il!"

  • Imagine if there was a Wal Mart down the street. Problem solved. These commie-fascists are disgusting.

  • @jwh30385 It's much more complex.

  • @Lachausis I agree. My point is that free market would have spared the lives of nearly every North Korean that died during the famine. This famine was a man-made disaster, fueled by natural disasters.

  • @jwh30385 But if a country has free market, it won't change anything as long they have no money to buy food. My country has free market and after we basically suffered biggest economical recession the past two years, there are people that find it problematic to buy food. Of course communal farming has failed, it failed in Soviet Union, it failed everywhere, but a free market won't change anything if the economy is on halt. KJI won't allow that, because free markets means loss of complete control

  • @Lachausis Very true, but if you look to South Korea, the difference in living standards (by every means possible) is astonishing. Of course, free market doesn't solve poverty by itself, but the poverty in North Korea is man-made, and a direct result of North Korea's failed system. Look what's happened to the Chinese economy after China embraced capitalism.

  • @jwh30385 True.

  • @Lachausis I don't agree with you. They have something that would definitely attract investments - cheap labour and intractructure (old, but still good for a start). Imagine there are places where they have 12-lane roads!!! And almost no cars. NKcould be quite a good place to live, if it has changed its system. Their mentality is also something valuable - they are an asian nation used to a hard work. Their potential is great, I think their development will rocket once they open their gates.

  • north koreans government is rich with loads of money ! but thay keep the nation hungry & poor so thay can control everything! Thay spen all the money on their hobbys or military! This is modern slavery! UN is a joke ! north korean capital city is almost empty now! there is no one left to revolution :(

  • It's terrible to see a people starve and there's nothing you can do about it. This is genocide committed by their own Government. Aid agencies are being told that they may provide food but they will not have any say as to who receives that aid. You can be sure the military and party hacks will get the bulk of it.
