It's a shame that everything that was told in the letter to the arabs are even today ignored, it is very known that muslims are blind because if they defy the teachings of islam they will be punished, muslims can't confess that everything that was told in the letter are similar to what happens today in the teachings of islam.
Its amazing to see people celebrating this red herring. I only have two comments on all this:
1) Omar is from Quraish, and my genes lead me to him, so I know about our tribe more than any of u. Quraish isnt a nomadic tribe, it's a tribe which settled in Makkah since the 7th century, and Quraish, as well as other non-nomadic tribes, dont eat snakes and lizards. Something about the language of that letter doesn't ring true. I have never seen the word "genocide" translated from an ancient persian text, nor have i heard anybody speak of a desert as being infested by anything. The persians used to laugh at the Arabs for living in a barren land.

All one needs to do is read a little history to understand how the Arabs were able to invade Persia. Were it not for the attrition of the Roman-Persian Wars that weakened Persia and Rome, the Arabs would have had no chance of invading Persia. Persia's (Sassanian) battles with Rome (Byzantium) over 500 years essentially weakened the empire. As we all know Wars are very expensive and in most cases require unpopular taxation of the nations at war...

It is undeniable that Khalif Omar was an evil person who had usurp power from the family of the Holy Prophet,headed by Imam Ali.When Umar attacked Persia the Persian army was defeated.Yizdegerd3rd princess was brought back to Arabia.Umar decided that the princess was to be made a slave.The usurped Imam Ali (nothing to do with the army of umar)said that it is unislamic to make her a slave.She should be given a free choice to choose for herself a husband among the muslims.She choosed Imam Husein.

The Persians and the Indians were one culture thousands of years ago. Hinduism and Zorastrianism sprang from the same Vedic culture and religion, Sanatana Dharma.
Islam destroyed Persian but India still remains the stronghold of our shared culture. We must defeat the enemy and return our society to our roots which is the Vedic Aryan culture.

HanbaliMuslim: it doesn't make it better and we don't feel any better by knowing other people suffered as Persian did.
And i can tell you it's not only mullah's which hate Umar, but mullahs only blame the Umar wile most other Iranian which know about the history and misconduct of Islam toward Persians and other nations blame Islam in totality and most of it's teaching and war mongering, and not only Umar.
