I've given up on glass desks they look cool but I think wood feels nicer. Glass desks are always cold and get dirty so easy. Plus there's the issue of how much weight it can support.

How tall is it from ground to top? At staples its says its 36 but I am thinking that is with the monitor stand which you clearly didn't install.

@DudeFromUkraine OK thanks. I am a bit worried about the "shakiness" of it though. Right now I am using a big wooden desk the weighs about 200lbs and looks awful. I'm a pretty big guy and I have to admit I push away from the desk, rest my arm and lean on the desk. Plus I play a lot of driving and flight simulators.

From the looks of the review this desk seems like it needs a bit of "finesse" while using it.

I would like a glass desk but they don't seem to be suited for me.

2 questions. First... how hard is it to assemble, and two... is it worth the cost. I don't care about fingerprints, but Im a student and need a good amount of space for computer, hw space and maybe a small TV. Would it hold all that? Thanks.

I LOVE this desk, the glass will be easy to take car of, no WATER stains like dumb wood! Oh and guys if you want to hide the wires just run them down the leg and put a ziptie around to hold them there!

@XmuXremiixX lol heres one thing you cant do with glass that I did with a desk I made hollow out the legs in the back and run wires down them hides 3-4 cords running from ground to monitor and since I use dual screen setup helps alot also my wood cost about 1/3 of your glass desk and i can make it to my own personal preferences

umm, i just measured my desk, and in every aspect, your desk is larger so that is awesome. now i am a hundred percent sure that i am getting the galaxy desk. picking it up tommorow. the wireless keyboard looks great under the glass. thanx for all ur help. im also from ukraine.

when i said to big, i ment like is it to close to me, like the width of the table. The imac has a big screen and if it is to close to me, it will hurt my eyes. do u think that it is wide enough for the imac?

I think you'll be fine, but if you sit really close to the desk then it might be little close. But I sit little away.

hey, im getting an imac and i want to get this desk. do u think that the imac 24 inch will be to big for this desk? would u recommend it, for the imac?

I dont think so, iMac is pretty thin (just taller and wider then my macbook). I think you will be fine, if you go to staples store, they have some on display so you can see live.
