What a fucking great piece of music!!!! I like it as much today in 2012 as I did when this LP 1st came out!!!!around 1974. I live in Buffalo NY and actually saw the original Utopia in 1974 at Chestnut Ridge, an outside park, performing this entire LP...AMAZING... I've seen TODD in the 70's-80's-90's-2000's &2010's ////and never a letdown. His performances as of late have been better as they've been done in club-settings...
@xxzeon i saw this concert as well in port huron, michigan...1st concert i ever saw...got my cherry popped right, lol...and have loved todd ever since...this is a brillent piece of art. :)
Yeah he may be old. But he's done a lot in life. Did you knew he's Liv Tyler's step-dad. Raised her as his own. She thought he was her birth father until her teenage years. Can you remember all your moves from 40 years ago? And perfrom them at 100%?
wowo I cant believe it, i remember my friend lending me this album it was his older sister's, back in 1979 or so, it blew my mind and esp. this song, i think it s my alltime favorite song ever, all those differrent parts, n how they fit together so well, unbelievable compositiona nd perormance. forever and ever.
@HepposStuten thats what happens when u get old..he's fuckin 63 for christ sake!..and for an Upper Darby H.S, drop out... did pretty good for himself ! hey...at least he stil has half his hair.....albeit the back half!
Only saw you once - you supported 'Dead Zepplun' at Knobworth, UK - and blew the fuckers off-stage! (I may be in an army of one, but that's really how it was folks honestly!!! :0)...
wow i saw the singring and the glass gutiar in 77 in buffalo NY and still think it was the show of my life and i have seen every one including Roger Waters the wall last year that without a doubt was EPIC so cool thanks for posting
Thank you so much for capping and sharing this. The best clip so far. I only wish Nevessa had filmed this performance as TR screwed up the words and the guitar cue the next night. Oh well sh@t happens. I look forward to more from you!
One the period classics. I still listen to it regularly.

That's sweet. Some of my earliest prog memories were Utopia around 1981. This soon was followed by Yes.

Very progressive album as Todd was experimenting with fusion at the time.

Moogy died afterwards? ....sad

Todd's old band of multiple key board players and just him, a bass player and drummer was the really thing back when progressive rock ruled the day.

Wow, it's nice to see Todd finally workin' it.
He sucked at the Lake Tahoe performance I attended.
He didn't even bring a keyboard.

bizarre to see people lose their shit over an obscure 15 minute prog-rock song. but this is really cool to see. they all still got it.
