I am an atheist as well and the only problem I have with religious people is when they try to convert you even after you have said no or are being overly critical, and hateful to someone because they are an atheist. The other thing I have seen is that some people who are none atheists have a stereotypical idea that all atheists are assholes because they saw one or two of them being one.
Cool man! Anyone being hateful doesn't deserve my respect, but as for people trying to convert, my view is to deal with those as they come. I find it tough to be hard on people who are genuinely TRYING to do something nice, even if I don't agree with it. I judge based on intentions, if that makes sense.
I would never get upset if a gay man paid me a compliment, and for the same reason, I can't be too angry at most who try to convert. Now if this person tells me I should go to hell for sympathizing with homosexuals (or something of that ilk), then at this point I tell them to kindly fuck off

We used to organise lecturer vs student poetry slams at Uni. Some of our lecturers are national slam champions so they were brilliant, but naturally most of the audience was students so that slanted the voting somewhat.
Really great nights and we raised a load of cash for charity too!
We sold tickets, and managed to pack out the auditorium (150 seats) every time. Took allot of publicity at first, but after that everyone just kept turning up.
I never took part because my poetry is about as good as a Vogon's, but I helped film them and then we sold the DVDs too.

Damn it! I was gonna say that I was food ignorant in my vid too! Son of a gun! Totally lame-er than you by the way. I didn't have eggs until this last summer and have never had a banana. Yeah.. pretty sad lol. Now I gotta do one so you won't cry. I don't know if I could live with myself if I were responsible for that lol.
