  • This pinball machine, along with Bally 1934 Skyscraper, are the only ones I've heard with a continuous ticking sound that sounds like some sort of timer or meter, but what is it? I'm sure these games didn't have a time limit, did they? I've tried to google to find out what makes the ticking sound, but could't find an answer.

  • Yes, That is indeed a timer. After a certain amount of time, the machine will shut off. This forces the player to play a quick game or put in more money for a new game. Check out our 7-Up pinball vid to hear another game with a timer.

  • Looks like a nice game to play! Very nice to see some more people keeping the older ánd the newer pins up and running! Keep it up!

  • I purchased a Ballyhoo that was supposedly from Rocky Point in Rhode Island, from the owners family - a few years ago. So it is possible your game came from the same collection.

Wouold love to chat with you about your very early games, I have a few as well.

  • nice!

  • My god that electric "CLUNK" sound when the light show starts is insane.
