  • One of THE best from the ole days. They will never be like that ever again.

  • Blackpool Rox

  • Back in the day this was my favorite tune to dance to at the clubs.

  • God, I should've seen them last year at the ECHO. Now I never will. :(

  • tedriding, The Process...

  • RIP, Larry Cassidy, now...as of 27-2-10, he's followed his Jenny...

  • Saw them Ajanta Derby 1980 (support to Joy Division - last gig?) I think??

  • ive been to a party in the drummers house (vin) an i played on his kit, its massive!!

  • Awesome song! Just wish I could hear it. Guess I'll have to dust off the vinyl...

  • God Bless Jenny!! Great Song!

  • awesome song....took me forever to find it

  • Bless

  • good song,good fotage of old (mid)hulme 2.

  • I like this video better than version 2. It looks more crafted than people just singing in front of the camera. Considering the age of the video, it's pretty damn cool!

  • what the hell's age got to do with it

  • @chrisnoaro1 ....sometimes old things such as videos don't look as good as current videos because they were created with limited resolution and techniques due to the youth of the art. In addition, they may look dated, use what many consider cliché imagery and storylines...any more questions?

  • @matreyia yeah - you think most modern pop videos don't have cliched imagery and storylines?!!

  • @chrisnoaro1 I do indeed. What's your point genius? If you have something to say then say it. Don't ask stupid questions and waste people's time. Before writing aggressively phrased questions, like "what the hell..." you should consider the meaning of the comment(s) you are replying to. If u didn't understand my very simple comment, not much more I can do for you. Old things decay materially, stylistically, technically...but this video is still interesting despite its age.

  • No I understood your original comment, I just thought it was pretty dumb and you deservd to be brought to task over it. "Considering the age of the video, it's pretty damn cool!" is what you said, implying that newer videos are usually better while ones from an older era often suck. Learn to appreciate art for its intrinsic merits according to your own taste and sensibilities and let go of the cheesy notion that newer things usually have more value.I wish you well on your road to enlightenment.

  • @chrisnoaro1 No Chris...apparently you didn't. You just stay in your smug little world view and keep up those kind of replies. Someday, maybe someone will bow down to you...but not today. You prefer VHS resolution over HD? More power to you.

  • Well, you originally said the video was 'cool' despite its age, and followed up that old things decay stylistically. I took that to mean the artistic merit of the music video - pretty reasonable wouldn't you say? Now you try to make out you were only talking about the medium, i.e., VHS vs HD! Different things surely?! Generally yes I prefer HD, but there are inherent weaknsses in older formats I ofen find attractive too. And I'd rather watch something good in poor resolution than crap in HD!

  • @chrisnoaro1 Well, that's what you get for jumping to conclusions and not reading more carefully. What part of "in addition, they MAY look dated...etc" did you not understand. Did you not see that it does not mean all videos all the time? And that "MAY" just means that it is possible and not the rule that they look dated...ect. ? Furthermore, "in addition" was meant to be an illustration to provide more reasons than just resolution or technology IN CASE it applied...

  • fair enough, good talking with you! have a listen to section 25's from the hip

(1983/4) - great album. this track is taken from it

  • @chrisnoaro1 I will check out your recommendations.
