i just recently discovered that my great grandfather was born on Faial and moved to Provincetown MA in the mid 1800"s.

both of my parents are from this island. when i went it was beautiful. now when ever i see hydrangeas here i scream. they belong to this island. and they look so foriegn in massachusetts.

for all its pros there are some cons. i personally wont be taking my children there untill they are older. and are able to experience it completely. i went 5 years ago when i was 12, had a great time..but some night were boring.

The Hydrangea is a genus of about 100 species of flowering plants native to southern and eastern Asia (from Japan to China, the Himalaya and Indonesia) and North and South America, not The Azores specifically, so now you can stop your screaming.
