  • I thought those were only in Michigan. We have Pasties all over here, especially up north. They are great Lunch Box foods!

  • What a moronic video. Thought this was going to be a tutorial. Who cares who wins on a scratch ticket. Geeeeeze !! Shame on you.

  • What happen to Paul?

  • some cornish tin miners many years ago, took a pasty down the mine, half was the normal pasty ,which they ate first.halfway they came to a separate section which was apple filled. dinner and dessert in one pasty. easy to carry and easy to eat with dirty hands.

  • A Pasty is not the English version of a Pie. There is a difference A16AdamWalkers comment explained this fact the best. By the way if you want to try a good Pie, then eat a Scotch Pie, they do them good up where I come from in Scotland.

  • You want a real english meat pie? Go to London and find a real pie and mash shop.

  • 2:27 Theres gonna be a race...Evo will rape

  • OMG.... had me laughing so hard!

  • 32 seconds of content wit 9 Minutes of BS

  • @SugaShey I forgot Johnny Depp did the remake. The original sweeny tood was done before I was born. it's a really old story.

  • They look really good but what exactly is inside of them? Just meat and potatoes?

  • @Zeryx33 meat, potatoes (lots of them), and veggies like green beans and carrots. Almost like a stew in a roll

  • thats deff not a meat pie we have them everywhere in aus all the bakerys, supermarkets at home, deli's,service stations etc etc ill send you a link

  • "if only my viewer got that joke" pfft yes becuse all none americans only have bloodsport and death wish at the movie´s........... shame on u jack..... :)

  • @majorenDK I bet no one has seen the original Sweeny Todd. You all know this story because of Johnny Depp. I forgot he redid it. It didn't do well in theaters.

  • @jakatak69 hehe its ok dude :) just kidding with ya :) there´s a smily at the end :)

  • pasty's are big in the upper peninsula were i live jack.

  • Hey jack, these aren't pies. They are 'pasties' (as other people have pointed out).

If you search 'Cornish Pasties' on Google, you'll find out how to make these fricken awesome things

  • LOL we HAVE seen Sweeney Todd you know! :D

  • That's not a pie! A pasty is just a folded pastry! A pie is a rounded pasty filled with meat and gravy, then covered with mash.

  • Jack, your friend Matt is a hottie ;P

  • 6:36 - "I like a little hole for my gravy."

    Captured for posterity.

  • love a good pork pie

  • These are common here in Wisconsin, especially the northern part of the state. Love 'em! They even have frozen ones in almost every grocery but I haven't tried those. I'd love to hang with you guys, you always crack me up.

  • YEAH! it is lol remember "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007)" that movie with johnny depp in it. about that barber that gave dead bodies to the meat pie shop owner and then she cooked it into her pies. yeah, movie by tim burton, it was pretty good ^^ anyways the pie looks delicious btw...its huge! i love it, wanna try it so bad >_<

  • Who is Sweeny Todd?

  • @theawesomestawesomer isnt sweeny todd that guy that made meat pies out of human bodies or something? i remember there was a movie made about it...wasnt there?

  • @theawesomestawesomer serial killer who made ground beef out of people after slitting their throats and made ground beef pies out of them

  • Well I hope they didnt use Cats or ppl in their pies;)

    "Worst pies in London!"

  • i live in england and pasties come from cornwall where i live, normally they are made with beef carrot potato sweed onion all packed into shortcrust pastry (like yours) with a plait or twist of dough on the side to seel it up

  • You and the 3 Stooges there -- funniest jack on the go ever!

  • i know what sweeny todd is...

  • Nice video food looked good. and I know who Sweeney Todd is.

  • Aquafina holy shit yeah!

  • Dude, I got the joke.. *GAG*I liked how when you asked what English meat pies were; they laughed, and just walked in the place!

  • @Mzrougepoupee No. There were girls that walked out and heard me ask that question and THEY LAUGHED AT ME.

  • Man I remember eating these as a kid when I lived in London (I am in the US now).

They were NEVER that big, LOL!

  • Do they use ground beef in it? I was thinking of trying to make my own with bought puff pastry.

  • @MarilyK1 it tasted like shredded beef or stew meat. Very tender with potato and carrots.

  • Oh, and Sweeney Todd.. lol..

  • Pasties aren't our meat pies Jack, haha :P We have meat pies and pasties :P Pasties are a type of puff pastery with meat inside of it :P

  • You friends are so juvenile lol, I love it.

  • his email is at the end of the video.

  • always glad to see u have a new video Jack.if u have the time,pm me your email address and i will send u a few very simple (but AMAZING!) pasty ideas.i am from Scotland and i make them almost every day.they take around 20 minutes from chopping board to plate,as the prep time is almost non-existant.it would be the hilight of my life to see u do a cooking shop making them.keep up the good work Jack, hope to hear from u soon!

  • lol sweeney todd's cutting hair upstairs lool :D

  • call me crazy, but the guys serving u didnt seem very friendly :p

  • @JustNess78 your crazy and your right. He didn't like me filming. No one ever does.

  • I am Australian and it is so weird for me that a pasty is so uncommon to someone! I guess it is just because it is so common in my country! I am glad you enjoyed it Jack.

  • rip a hole and pore gravy in LOL good show jack

  • would of been better if it actually resembled anything you would actually get in england

  • paste-y

  • sweeny todd that dude put me off pies forever

  • Just to let you know Jack, as someone in the UK, those ain't Pie's, they're Pasty's, The difference being Pasty's are basically folded pastries that were used by miners because of that crimp, as they could hold onto it and eat most of it without getting soot on their food. A Pie over here is basically a round preformed pasty filled with meat and gravy, then covered either with more pastry or mashed potato.

Just to let you know ;-)

  • @A16AdamWalker awesome. I never knew that. Thanks for the details.

  • @jakatak69 Glad to Help :-)

  • @A16AdamWalker that sounds sooo good

  • @DarkTwin567 Is if you add a pickled onion... dunno why but makes it sooooo much nicer
