Keep in mind a lot of Egyptian art show the people as having a light skin color, more that of an Asian than an African. Most times people who where depicted as black only meant to portray they where male. Also there are a few statues that the hair is made of gold thus giving a blond appearance. Just kind of pointing these things out. In addition look at all the Egyptian statues (with exception to Akhenaten) none of them look like a black person. Don't play the racist card dipshit.
the Nile River is the longest in the world and stretches down to Ethiopia wich is where scientist have discovered some of the oldest human remains. Add this to the fact that the Nile river runs north wich means it was a direct route to egypt up north. Egypt was not always called Egypt. It was called Kemete and the illustrations of Kemites where depicted as dark dark skinned people. The greeks tried to name Kemite Egypt just as Spainards tried to name america even though it was already inhabited
This is Racist... How are you going to depict an African country with no real Africans? What African have you ever seen with fair skin and blonde hair?... Please et me know..
im so glad egyptians are around in this day an age , because you can just look at them to see the colour of there skin , when someone has no history they like to cling on to other peoples,
@rajarizwan The Egytians of today are not the same as the ancient Kemites of 5,000 years ago, just as the Americans of today are not the same as the Native Americans of 500 years ago. The Egypt of today is an Islamic nation, which is currently inhabited by peoples from Assyria, Syria, Persia, Europe and other areas of the world, who have, through a process of miscegenation over a period of thousands of years, evolved into the Egyptians of today.
@haithamsalah1. I am only pointing out facts. You need to carefuly read what i posted. Its deep and cannot just be read at a glance, well at least not for you (no insult intended)... How do you live in the greatest land and not know its history, or I should say true history? America too is a mealting pot wich is a valid point in the relation of both egypt and america. Other wise everyone in america would still be native americans. What about DNA? This part of your argument is not clear.
What the hell is up with the white skinned statues? We all know white people dont have flavorfull culture like egyptians did. Quit trying to hide the truth. This makes me believe that there is a flaw in your thinking.
I want to write a story and call it..." an Ancient Egyptian Love Story" I want to keep everything factual. I have been reading about the everyday lives of the ancient Egyptians for years. What do you think?
What a fantastic job you did on this. I want to write an Egyptian love story and keep it very factual with the way they lived. I have been reading all about ancient egypt for years. I am not sure in which period I want to write. I guess it all depends on how much info I have on each period. What do you think?
On Cleopatra's facial reconstruction Archaeologist Dr Hilke Thuer from the Austrian Academy of Sciences, who led the discovery, says: "It is unique in the life of an archaeologist to find the tomb &the skeleton of a member of Ptolemaic dynasty. The results of the forensic examination and the fact that the facial reconstruction shows that Arsinoe had an African mother is a real sensation which leads to a new insight on Cleopatra's family & the relationship of the sisters Cleopatra & Arsinoe."
Not sure of the name, but it's on a disc called Music of Egypt (original, I know). I don't know if you can find it in stores or online; I picked up my copy at a museum gift shop. It's a compilation of ancient Egyptian music and some contemporary pieces as well.
Yes the video I saw was very good and interesting except all the ancient egyptians were white. I think that's the little fiction they added to it. Otherwise very good

shut your ignorant ass up. If you are talking about the paintings of the egyptians, they are tan (arabic appearance) just as they appear in real life in the temples, pyramids, etc. I have neen to Egypt, have you?
clayton0001..tell me, does using nasty language make your comment more powerful..or does it just show your level of desrespect.. an intelligent human being should be able to conversate without this language...what do you think..?
Yes, it was ridiculous of me to be irritted by that comment but Egyptians were not black, (some might have been) but overall the main ancient Egyptian population had pretty much the same skin tone as their decendants do today. No using cuss words does not make it more powerful, and I should not have inserted "ass" in my comment.
clayton..you know that you can catch more bees with honey than with vinedar...yet..here you are you done it again..and in all honesty...we dont really know for sure the skin tone of someone who lived 4 thousand years ago..all we can do is assume..
