  • gayest thing ever

  • Pointless scene! Fucked up my favorite child hood movie.

  • there is a reson they took this song out of the movie, because it sucked.....THERE I SAID IT :/

  • nobody would have givin two shits if this was in the original but now everyones butthurt because they decided to finish the movie.

  • This song is as pointless as the Jabba scene inserted in Star Wars IV

  • Yah I don't really like this new song . Actually I don't like it at all I only like the Simba's part . But this is my favorite movie of all time and when this new song came out I was like w t f !!

  • Zazu dislked the number of dislikes

  • We watched this when I was a sophomore in HS in film class...when this came on we all got mad and one of my buddies said he was going to bring the VHS tape that doesn't have this stupid song! Haha, it was so funny!

  • @SaberWingDragon ooh thanks! :D (original's still better though) ;)

  • wtf i watched the lion king the other day and this didn't happen?? is it a deleted scene or something??

  • @DarkMaguini It was originally a deleted scene that wasn't animated, which was replaced with the pouncing lesson scene for the original movie. They reanimated it and put it in a special edition dvd.

  • Why does Simba look so feminine when he starts singing? XD

  • people it was just a deleted scene they replaced this with the pouncing lesson 4 the original movie n this was just a feature on the dvd

  • lols

    peck peck peck

  • i love this song espeshelly when simba sings

  • HOLD UP! i dont memba this being in the movie

  • this was only on the dvd movie. SO SHUT UP MEAN PEAPLE!!!!

  • @wolfsrock818 i love the morning report and pouncing lesson

  • @doglover12335 me to lalala sorry i was singing

  • They should have just left out the song and kept the "Whack a mole" moment.

  • I liked this better than the Original :D

  • This scene is so much better with the song!

  • lol, i love the origional better, but this is catchyy... and it doewsnt always appear on the special feature DVD .

  • simba sings better

  • What the Hell is this??? I don't remember this ever happening

  • I don't like Simba's singing voice in this one... this is why Disney should just leave good movies alone.

  • Thank god this isn't the version in theatres!!

  • i love this song :)

  • Why does everyone seem to hate this song? It's not that bad. If you are going to complain about it at least see the pro to this song. It's short. I don't think this song is so bad though.

  • This song is from "The Lion King" on Broadway Show!!!!!

  • Just a FYI: This song was not part of the original video back in the 20th century with video tapes :P it was added when the dvd came out and the quality was improved.

  • ...I actually love this. It shows Simba and Mufasa bonding. The song's also really catchy.

    Plus, Zazu is hilarious.

  • Guys.

You can't be serious on hating this.

    It's STILL the same scene.

Zazu is just singing in it.

    Get over it.

  • I only watch this scene to see Simba sing!! =D He's freaking awesome!!

  • @Nacyfangirl

    Me too! XD

  • what the french fry? i never knew this song existed?

  • I love Simba's singing. Even muffled! It's the mooooooooring reeeeeeeport~~!!!

  • I like this song, though? D: Why is everyone hating on it?

  • deleted scene from those dads of collector editions and shit

  • Uhhhhh where'd the song come from? I didn't know there was sining in this and i've seen this 12 times.

  • Wtf is this.........

  • ive seen this movie AT LEAST 1093285034295872 times and i never knew there was a song here...i was to busy focusing on simba pouncing....

  • @lynnluv123 There isn't the 2003 edition put it in. . .

  • ayden

  • They better cut this on the bluray version AND the 3d theater release.

  • @bewoulf2000 there not gunna cut it off cus its part of the movie

  • @mariajake11 Actually, the pouncing lesson is the real part of the ORIGINAL movie. This is just a change to the story, so they can go back to the original.

  • zazu deserved being pounced on

  • WTF?!!!!!

  • I worked at a dvd store when they discontinued the true original version of the movie then replaced it with this 'remastered' edition, and also this song. Needless to say I was really pissed off, I liked the original grainy picture quality and this song isn't nec. It takes a well proportioned movie and moves it towards a musical. You should have the option of buying the original again.

  • im actually dissapointed for the new 3D movie, it will ruin the original (and best version possible) version, and i dont ever want to forget this... :(

  • Idc wah ya say thys is a good song and simba gets to practice pouncing besides he could sing

  • I hope this song isn't in the 3D remake :(

  • At 1:07 Simba can really sing o.dee !

  • Am I the only person who wish they kept this?

  • zazu remimds me of brainy smurf

  • THis song wasn't at the movie I have, It was the same scene but without the song and a bitt different... It's added later...

  • wasnt simba voiced by a girl

  • @EmoniDaBest No, he was played by Jonathon Taylor Thomas, one of the kids from Home Improvement.

  • I actually sing this when I'm at work and bored. The original Lion King came out when I was like a year old, and it's always been my favorite Disney, if not overall movie, and I like the new song they put in the new version of the movie.

  • 30 people don't knw the morning report

  • This is actually my favorite song from the movie.. O.o

  • i dont like this because only pumba and timone are supposed to be the comedy part of the movie. this makes simba and mufasa seem funnier and it takes away from his serious death. simba and mufasa are supposed to be dramatic not funny. i dont like this at all.

  • @celtticnesses Lighten up. -.-' It's a kid's movie.

  • @celtticnesses actully i feel quite the opposite happens. you see mufasa as this warm and caring father figure and then his gets ripped away from his son by the jealousy of scar. all in all i think that it give kids the feeling that mufasa was closer to his son than in the original. btw im not trying to be a jerk or smart alack-y

  • @celtticnesses They should have their funny moments too not just be serious characters all the time. It gives them a more innocent feel before the horrific murder takes place.

  • i think they shouldve added the deleted "Be Prepared" scene instead of the Morning Report. but i guess it's ok....

  • 0:45-Mufasa's eyes go from white to yellow O__O

  • @xSimphonii They probably wanted Zazu to do something, so that Simba's pounc on him would be a bit more unexpected, or something like that. IDK.

  • Okay. I admit, this is a pretty catchy song, etc. etc.

    BUT

Did they really have to have Simba sing? I mean, he wasn't even really paying attention to Zazu when he sang the chorus. I would've enjoyed the song if it stopped right after Simba pounced on Zazu.

    AND

I know sooner or later I would have cared if this song was in the original. It just doesn't fit well.

  • @BlakieWolf I like it because of Simba, his singing is adorable! <3

  • "What's going on?"

    "A pouncing lesson."

"Oh very good -- pouncing. Pouncing?! Oh no, sire! You can't be serious-- oh, this is -so- humiliating..."

    "Don't make a sound."

"What are you telling him Mufasa? Mufasa? ...Simba?"

    -bam-

    Now why on earth would they remove that scene D;

  • @xSimphonii I know right!

  • JESUS CHRIST SIMBA'S VOICE IS HIGHER THAN MINE

  • I remember the first time I watched the special edition and this part came and all of a sudden the animation quality changed XD

  • I like the song and I enjoyed seeing something new in the Special Edition. 'Cause like, little Simba, Ohmuhgosh. <3 I just wish they had gotten someone who sounded more like Jason Weaver to sing it. :/

  • Mufasa and Simba's eyes flash white at :45 - :47 ... Oops.

  • Ive never listened to this song in the first version. What version is this from?? This song is so so...

  • Zazu: .....I told the elephants to forget it, but they can't... Mufasa: Zazu, will you turn around Zazu: Yes sire.. Mufasa: stay low to the ground... Simba: O.K. stay low to the ground yeah Zazu:What's going on? Mufasa: A pouncing lesson. Zazu: Oh, very good. POUNCING? Oh, no sire you can't be SERIOUS oh this is SO humiliating Mufasa: Do not make a sound Zazu: What are you telling him Mufasa? Mufasa? BAM
  • this is awful. Original version is MUCH, MUCH better!!! :O

  • @34RiverStone you keep telling yourself that. the other 94,845 people minus dislikes will keep telling themselves something completely different. I mean if it was good enough for Broadway...

  • @Jaser200 what are you talking about? It sounds like you think I don't like the Lion King or the broadway show or something. I love both! I just don't like this new song: i like the original version with the pouncing lesson scene, which was way better

  • @34RiverStone oiii! i'm talking about this specific song, this scene, this youtube video right here. not lion king as a whole. it was pretty obvious you like lion king

  • @Jaser200 ok, so let me get this straight.

You like the morning report song, and I don't, because I prefere the original version. Correct? So why are we arguing? And what do you mean by "you keep telling yourself that the 94,845 people minus dislikes will keep telling themselves something completely different."???? What?

  • @34RiverStone ok you seem confused so let me set you straight. i mean you keep telling yourself that the morning report scene is worse and 94,845 people minus the dislikers will tell themselves that they do like the scene even if it is not equal and/or greater than the original scene. it's poking fun at you. it's a joke. don't worry about it. think whatever you want.

  • @Jaser200 okay then...

  • fuck the mornign report i want the pouncing leson back....

  • @JSPIsAGamer YES!!!

  • @JSPIsAGamer

lols but both of them are still good but i agree i like pouncing lesson

  • 0:15 "no thanks!"

  • 1:15 xD OMFG xD

  • i prefer back when it wasn't a song -_-

  • 1. i swear zazu is gay

    2. i dont remember this song

  • @maddie2k11 this song was put in an updated version of the film not the original

  • @maddie2k11 it wasnt in the original movie so you couldn't

  • i love this song its good

  • I REALLY NEED TO WATCH THE ORIGIANAL VERSION DONT I?

  • @2quimby: me too!

  • People, really. This song isn't that bad. You just don't like it because it wasn't in the original. If it was, you wouldnt care because you would have grown up with it. And dont even try to tell me other wise. No, it's not the best thing ever but it still actually kinda fits here. He's having fun with his dad and annoying Zazu and this song is nice and upbeat. The whole movie doesnt need to be sad.

  • awful. Glad i only ever watched the older better version before

this song is so unnecessary and weakens the moment and it's silly

  • I think this was in the musical version of the Lion King. It's been so long since I saw it though, so I can't remember right XP

  • I was wondering why I didn't remember this at all...

  • If you feel that you've met Zazu in another film sometime before, then this is probably because you've seen "The Great Mouse Detective", whose character, Fidget, is astonishly similar.

  • wordering how did they ever think a song likr morning report would be of any coolness to the lion king it just makes me bored

not happy not sad not anything it just suck's

  • This song does does nothing to move the story. There's no need for it. I guess they just wanted to give poor Zazu a song

  • @aLittleGleeky It really wouldn't hurt to have this part in the movie, it would add even more depth and detail to everything and it's also pretty funny.

  • @aLittleGleeky further solidifies the Mufasa and Simba relationship. Shows the start of the Simba pouncing gag and shows Zazu doing his job. Also shows Mufasa is a good king

  • @aLittleGleeky yes it did it showed simba bonding with his dad and being taught how to survive remember mufasa got killed off pretty soon in the film :(

  • @aLittleGleeky I love this part!!!! Zazu is funny and Simba can really sing!

  • @aLittleGleeky It's a small world after all... ♪

  • @aLittleGleeky This song is from The Lion King Broadway musical. So it has some purpose.

  • Best musical animation ever made! God I miss the 90's

  • Simba kicks tail at singing compared to Zazu!

  • I can appreciated some changes they make to old disney movies...if anyone has seen bedknobs and broomsticks recently...WTF? disney should stop trying to add every bit of whatever they left out of a movie back in. it works sometimes as said, but no not others, like this? does that mean now EVERY lion king i watch will have this damn song? that is not the classic i grew up loving.

  • @ForsetiLover oh of course.it's not like the song has the same mood/tone as the other songs & the movie itself. this was going to be put in originally & if it was you would have loved it. adding it back in does not destroy the classic.it can make it that more special sometimes.besides if u don't like it watch the old vhs version.or maybe there is an option to not have the song included? i doubt it though b/c why would u be complaining then right? i don't know b/c i haven't watched it in a while

  • aw, baby simba's so cute! (i have a plushie of him) :D

  • Am I the only one who thought "What the fuck is this?"

  • Simba is voiced by Johnathan Taylor Thomas ONLY when he's talking. Not singing DUH!

  • this sounds so terribly out of place O.o

  • lol Simba's high voice is hilarious

  • Their Voices Sound Different

  • Saffron is this season's color, seen in all the herds!

  • I remember in the VCR version Mufasa actually told Zazu that Simba was practicing pouncing. Where did that go? Anyway, I LOVE Simba's voice in this!!!! 8D

    <3 <3

  • All of you hate this song and like the pouncing lesson better, did you realize that there is a hunting lesson in there?

  • BOOO!!!! BOOOO!!!!! MORNING REPORT SUCKS! POUNCING LESSON FOREVER!!!!! DX

  • Both the voices and the animation are off in the scene, but I still like it. I love the part where Simba sings. Outstanding stuff.

Although, just one thing. This makes Mufasa seem... silly in a way? I don't know. I just always pictured him all regal and king like. This makes him rhyme... Still a good part though =3

  • LMAO!

  • Mufasa, you cheeky dad. FFF.

  • Seems like Zazu created 14 accounts :D

  • Respond to this video...

Wait, this wasn't in the original movie? I'm pretty sure I remember it in the movie...

  • @Nintendofan146 The original movie had the Pouncing Lesson scene. Watch it on youtube. It's wayyyyy better than this complete garbage.

  • Simba is so effing adorable!

  • I lol'd so hard when Simba was singing with Zazu's tail in his mouth! xD

  • i like it too.

  • I love Mufasa's voice. Deep and calming.

I like adult simba instead of him being younger :/

  • umm how does he have a nest egg? i thought he was a guy

  • i don't remember this song being in the film :S but cool song, i love lion king. one of the best disney films :D

  • 13 people didn't come back from lunch

  • Simba's voice is awesome even when it is muffled.

  • Man well at least I'll always have the real lion king in my heart...

  • love this

  • This wasn't a modification. It was originally supposed to be in the move, but I forget why it was cut and they just added it in the re-release. This song is really not that bad. Its a nice little catchy song and I like it, its cute.

  • all i could say at 0:42

    FAIL

  • i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE simbas voice!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the dude who sings for simba here is hot not jonathan taylor thomas but a diff kid

  • go from 0:30 the mole sticks his middle finger up at simba

  • I like this even though it modifies the movie a little understand why they added it just to give a little backround story about the kingdom

  • Honestly, if this were put in the original movie when it came out nobody would care.

  • @MissChelDorado This is true, but when you change a classic (especially when you can clearly hear and see a difference on the screen with the animation), it just doesn't feel like it fits at all. Like they always say "If it's not broken, don't fix it."

  • @Sallyallie89 This song was originally already there, but it didn't fit on the video so they had to remove it. Now, with dvd's and stuff, they added it again.

  • @Rickgaarn I know it was originally in the story board, but you have to admit the voices changed and the animation changed, so it is off. I said in another video on here that if they had to delete a scene, it should remain deleted unless they give the viewers the option to watch the deleted scenes like they do with a lot of movies these days.

  • @MissChelDorado Yes,but than Rowan Atkison sing it.

  • @MissChelDorado I would care. The song takes away from the pouncing lesson Mufasa is trying to give him. You should always leave original movies such as this the way they were made, as they were made that way for a reason.

  • @OMGItsCheyable But if it were in the original you would have no knowledge of the "pouncing lesson". I like the pouncing lesson more than this, I just think people are being a bit insane saying NOES THIS RUINS THE MOVIE when it really doesn't :/

  • @MissChelDorado Ahha no it doesnt ruin the movie. Nothing could to me, nothing. I just think it takes away from Mufasa's relationship with Simba. << That is important.

  • @OMGItsCheyable Really? The pouncing lesson still happens here, though sadly and a tad annoyingly interrupted. I don't think this takes from their relationship at all :/

  • @MissChelDorado I do :/ Just how I am. Its just weirdddd

  • @MissChelDorado, i would care because this is such shit. when this came up in the movie i was so disappointed.

  • @awaitinyou no you wouldn't... >:1 If it were in the original you wouldn't be acting like "This should never be in the movie!!!" Like everyone else who's wining about it. You would either love it, or not care. It was SUPPOSED to be put in the original...so, it isn't like it's new, as in, they just came up with it and randomly put it in.

  • @BrittleThorn , yes i would still complain about it. the song is so bad. people are complaining because the lion king is otherwise a great movie that appeals to most. this almost cheapens it. there is a reason this was not in the original.

  • This was pretty cute but it just doesn't fit with the movie :(

I wonder what Disney was thinking when they put it in the movie..

  • This can't be rowan atkinson's voice!! it sounds FAKE listen to 0:11 "crocodiles are snapping up fresh offers from the banks" sounds like an American putting it on.

  • AAAAAAAAAANNNNNND this is why I refuse to buy the Lion King DVD

  • @Sicilianforlife Lion king is one of the best movies ever, how can you not buy it?!

  • i don't like this version but i do like it when simba starts singing.

  • oh good lord ouch.

hello crappy singing breaks. i thought you were stuck in sequels.

  • They completely butchered a perfectly good movie right here...

  • They completely butchered a perfectly good movie right here...

  • the voice of zazu is rowan atkinson (mr. bean)

  • this is the version i grew up with ... not the other one

  • Aww, simbas voice is just soo beautiful and cute! xP -3

  • WOOOWW im the seasons color :D

  • Simba's voice is so beautiful! Everytime I hear it it makes me wanna cry! I love it so much! When he was a child, and when he gets older :D

  • Strange I dont remember this scene at all.

  • @AltoBrittany thats because it was added in the re-releases
