For those who don't get the video: Dr. Mohler spoke at a conference that Rhett and Link emcee every year. This was one of their videos for the conference. I personally think it's hilarious!

With so many troubles in the world, one has to wonder why these evangelicals spend so much time on gay issues. Are they covering up their own gayness, like Ted Haggard, or are gays just an easy target? Mohler has said that even if it can be proven a child is born gay, he/she should be treated for it prenatally like any other disease. Too bad there isn't a prenatal treatment bigotry. Mohler is a false prophet who is "propheteering" on Christ's name.

Mohler said if homosexuality is genetic then homosexuals will say its unfair for a couple to abort their child. He addressed the concept of genetic engineering as a MORAL issue.

UFOboy, you know nothing about God's truth, the message of Jesus Christ or how to form a logical argument. Supporting homosexuality means you are actively working against the commands of God. Judaism and Christianity both believe strongly in the 'family unit' which doesn't include two fathers.

And homosexuality is much more complicated than that; science doesn't have yet the answer about it, but I'm pretty sure even from a religious point of view it's pointless to condemn other people, are we are no juge for anyone.

Homosexuality being "natural" - if it is - doesn't make it not sin. Promiscuity is "natural" and seen in nature (how many species of animals mate for life? Not many). It's still a sin. It could be argued that murder is "natural" and animals are killing other animals and humans on a regular basis. Murder is still a sin.

But, what makes homosexuality a sin? Nothing, there is nothing wrong with it and if it is, which is not it's of the least sins, so people need to take a look before they start spouting off hurtful words and we know who we're talking about. There's really nothing in the Bible that says homosexuality is a sin. But, yes promiscity and murder are sins, and it's explicitly says promiscuity and murder are.

ESV was redone in 2001 and they still translated ἀρσενοκοίτης as homosexual. The root words are "bed" and "man". Hundreds of smart guys working separately and living at different times translated the Bible into various English translations and most came up with "homosexual" for these two verses or something that basically means the same thing. What are the credentials of those who say they are mistaken and do they have an agenda or are they objective?

First off what's in Romans, if you read the passage it's not about homosexuality it's about people turning from God, and going into sin, doesn't say anything about homosexuality specificly, and it's not a sin, because if you read the passage immoral, nor idolater, nor adulterers shall inherit, guess what it's acutally saying, did u know gay men were used to protect women in the Bible, plus Gay marriges were performed in the early parts of the 1st millenium. The bible is hard to translate

2. Romans 1 clearly does refer to homosexuality as a fruit of a group of people turning away from God. It is the punishment of God. God letting the heart go so corrupt to go against nature in such a way.

This is awesome! I had Dr. Mohler for a theology class in Seminary and really got to witness his wit that most don't get to see. It is very dry and below the rader...like in this video. Great job guys!
