I haven't seen the entire program, but I wonder if they did a piece on the Dog House in Albuquerque. It's not my favroite, but everybody else likes it, and there was scene of Breaking Bad that was filmed there.
deans hotdogs in gloversville new york are the best hotdogs in new york as far as i am concerned, but i no theres alot of wonderful hotdog joints that i need to explore.
Rick's shows are great, and he's a great guy as well. I own all the shows on dvd.
There's usually at least one person in each show, though, that annoys me...in A Hot Dog Program, it's this character that runs this wagon. There are some people, such as myself, who like to "splurge" on food, but save on all the sugar of regular pop and drink diet instead. I wouldn't patronize his "Mystery Machine" because of his attitude.
and I'd bet your not alone...but what business he loses I'm sure doesn't matter to him, his business and he runs it as he choses. you chose to patronize or not.
I go to some bars that feature micro brews and don't sell Bud, Coors, etc....they figure you can get that anywhere. Does it cost them some business?Yup. Do they care. Nope.
@Markt5757 no, i'm afraid not. once a week is ok. i need to be careful too. as we grow older we need to slow down. i love NATHAN'S, WENDY's, etc. french fries i try to eat it less except if i get coupons. enjoy.****
I went to Mike's for the first time this past week and didn't like it so much... i think famous lunch in Troy is better. Morrette's makes a great cheesesteak, though.
Easterbrooks in burlington Ontario are really good and they make 40 different kinds to order. They have been around since 1935 or something like that.
@animegod666 everyone's got their favorites. i just wish i could travel to all those places to eat those HOT DOGS. my favorite is NATHAN'S famous. w/ mustard, relish, chili, onions, sauerkraut, etc.****
Hey has anyone seen this whole program with the retard who says
"When I gather enough money I come back and I buy more hot dogs"
I would love to see that part again!! So if anyone knows where I can watch that clip that would be great. It's my favorite part of the movie. That retard made me want a hot dog real bad.
haha funny! the guy's name is Benjy Bronk. oh and sorry to say but he's faking it! He's a regular on Howard Stern. type this in the search engine on youtube to see him on the hotdog program... Stern Shows Benjy Bronk "Hot Doggin"!
or just type in Benjy Bronk to see all his stuff on the Stern show. :)
Loved this snippet. More dammit. More. Americans, give this planet ideas... Don't just sell DVDs. Every country in the world should have a similar documentary about its own "fast foods".
Great film! Always get me ready for Hot Dog season!

As a diabetic I would splurg on a hot dog but would have to drink diet soda because of no sugar. Make sense???
