It is possible to compensate and have the vocals in a faster signature without the pitch going higher. You just need the right software...

theres no way of keeping the vocals the same if your gonna speed it up. u raise tempo, u raise pitch. i think its a tune, but to get it real dark, slow it back down to the original speed, fill out the drums, and listen to a fat long bass. nice.
