  • that man has the sexiest moves I've EVER SEEN :D

  • Comment removed

  • @xM4JoRx what the fuck yes it is?

  • listen to this song a few times every single day.

  • gotta love the dancing :D

  • i love the little freek

  • This song reminds me of a Mediaeval Quarto.

  • I feel like dancing like him infront of the world, everytime i listen to this song. the fuckin guitar riff is so fuckin amazing.

  • at 2:18 looks like the synthesizers or whatever didn't go up but I kinda like how the drums built it up.

  • The funny thing about this performance being before the actual release: it changed. notice the clapping, it goes *-1-2-3-4-*-1..2..3.. in the real version, in this it just goes *-1-2-3-4-1..2..3.. there's no beat between fast and slow claps. just interesting :P

  • @arliben nope, the beat is the same. 5/4

  • 2:10 - What a move!

  • best move evar. yes.

  • The Bass and the drumming make this awesome !!

  • thom is amazing live

  • gotta admit, 15 steps is AMAZING! The whole 'in rainbows' album was one of their best :D

  • I don't even know what I'd do if I got a seat this close to the stage. Brilliant. And the decision to play at the Grammy's w/ USC was inspired.

  • Man, to have accomplished so much that you can just flip around like a spastic sardine and not give a fuck. True success and freedom.

  • micahbuzan, i agree its that orgasmic riff omg JIZZED

  • how come i can't stop listening to this amazing song?

how come i end up listening to it every day?

    i guess becauase it' amazing

  • thumbs down? really? in case any of you didnt realize this was meant as compliment towards radiohead.

  • Love the dancing Thom = )

  • This is killer!!!!!!!!

  • muy buen tema!!

  • wtf is muse lol im sure they suck donkey balls next to radiohead ..

    ''RadioHead is best band ever''

  • muse can not touch radiohead but they are decent

  • yeah radiohead IS the best, but MUSE rock a hell lot too, both are my faves, and no, muse does not suck.

Look them up instead of criticising with no proof.

    Radiohead FTW!

  • Yoshipower,

My knock on Muse is that they wouldn't exist if not for Radiohead. Their genesis was an attempted mimmickry of Radiohead. But in fairness to Muse, while someone could say Muse's sound is Radiohead + Tool + Queen....somebody could also make an argument that Radiohead's sound is Can + Pink Floyd + Sonic Youth with a dash of Pixies time-signatures.

I guess my point is, as original as Radiohead are (and they ARE), their constituent ingrediants are slightly derivative.

  • este video es de copenhage?

  • will you fucking dipshits stop comparing muse and radiohead already!?

    Both ROCK HARD!

    end of story

  • i could watch this man dance all day. (no joke.)

  • AS genius too. (so, so beautifully on the spectrum.)

  • total bug genius! luv it!

  • radiohead made muse

  • you just don't get it, do you?

  • seriously thats hard to beat lol

  • Competition? Muse is good and entertaining, but Radiohead's in a completely different league. Radiohead's already Legendary, but I think Muse will be forgotten in a few decades.

  • like a chiwawa on acid lmfao

  • lmfao at the dancing. hilarious.

  • Thom Yorke dances like an embarrassing dad

  • lol

  • He looks like he experimented wit something before coming out on stage.

  • no, hon. he's just Thom, that's all. (brilliant!)

  • He seems like he is in a very good mood!

  • Your Brother is in a good mood because he is your brother.

  • I love how he tweaks his songs every so slightly with each performance. But I love the way he sung 15 Step at the grammy's!

    and P.S.

Thom Yorke embodies the meaning of "dance like no ones watching" he's so organic and genuine with everything he does! :D

Alright I'm going to stop myself before I go off for 5 more paragraphs about how epically awesome Radiohead is.

  • so true

  • Hahaha, I love the way thom dances.

  • ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW RADIOHEAD LIVE

  • wow thom can dance amazing

  • LMFAO!

  • Damn, this song got a great response from the get-go.

  • I love how he can Jirate on stage like a fool and its just an amazing feel and you just gt love it

  • God awesome band. you lucky bastard. can't believe you got that close to them.

  • One of the coolest Radiohead bass parts at the last half of this song.

  • wow u r a luck mf for seeing them this close

  • thom was waiting for pleople to say " yohaaaaaa" thats why he danced like that hahaha so funny

  • LOL at Thom's white boy dance

  • greatest band ever

  • he was so into it nd havin so much fun he dint even kno when his own song ended...thas wht i call' in the zone'.

  • was ed late on his synth cue at the end, or was it just a technical malfunction?

  • technical malfunction

  • great video thanks for posting

  • love u

  • man I fucking LOVE thom's dancing

  • awesome

  • This is a gem...

  • me muero de ganas por que regresen a mexico waaaaaa!!!

  • I love how he says "what happened" in this version.

  • Hold on...I have a problem w what u just said, I'm in the US and I "get it" like you said. But, surely you know that Radiohead is Brittish?! So...what kind of sense does your statement mean? Some of the best music EVER was from across the pond...and believe me, they get it over there. Please explain.

  • maybe he/she was dissing people from denmark, that's where this concert was.

  • Es que da pena alabarlos tanto xD

  • radiohead is my drug of choice

  • agreed :)

  • 아 존내 귀여워^w^

  • Está chidísima la canción, son la mejor banda del momento.

  • del momento???? de la decada y de la pasada y de las proximas!

  • 2:10

  • Exactly...that is awesome! I love Thom and all his mannarisms...

  • fuckin good song

  • Best DANCE EVER!!!!!!!!

  • sounded a little different in indy

  • It's funny to notice the small differences between the song in this performance and in the album... the clapping pattern was different, the note in 1:43 didn't move up a tone as in the album, not to mention the different lyrics. Funny that Ed's effect didn't work at first... Check out Colin and Thom's worried faces at 2:19.

  • gnuguitou, you are one lucky person, so f-ing close

  • 15 steps.. to masturbate .

  • Please vote thumbs up, if you find all these music-theory duechebags hilarious, when menawhile, just FUCKING LISTENING AND REPLICATING the beats, with your FUCKING EARS, would have resolved how one plays the correct percussion, about TEN TIMES AS FAST, about arguing what enumeration (5/4, 15/16. 256/hamburger), represents the groove.

No wonder the best composers are natural ear-players...they aren't reliant on nametags to sense music's groove.

    Lightweights.

  • yeah!

  • @slitheringinterstate This is stupid. All of the guys (except Thom) know theory and use it. Jonny was trained classically on violin. The large majority of composers know theory, it's the guys who "jam" that usually don't know theory. Though I have my problems with theory, it definitely has helped my writing skills. I'm sorry you are angry that you don't know theory, but learn what the hell you are talking about. Oh, and it's 5/4.

  • @slitheringinterstate how much music theory do you even know? You're being completely ignorant. Yes the best composers had amazing ears but they also had incredible knowledge of music theory. I myself know only elementary theory but it's helped so much. There's one thing about being limited with theory and using it to be better.

  • Just got back from the show tonight. It's official, American's can not clap in beat. I want to go to a show abroad pretty badly now.

  • I'm wishing they come to Portugal. You're invited. :P

  • Yes Crush Me you're right...

You see, as soon as people cross out of the arbitary boundary of the United States border,

they genetically mutate and instantly become able to clap elaborate polyrythmic beats.

Especially in Latvia, and Lichenstein...those two countries have the highest incidence of this medical phenomenon.

...you low IQ steaming cunt lol...if you were born in Belgium, you'd be sayng the converse.

I hate dumb people. Kill yourself, but first kill your family.

  • ouch. Someone doesn't understand humor . . . especially directed at one's own country.

  • Crushme,

I'm from Canada you assumptive fucktwit. Just quit talking, you're polluting the air with ignorance and dullmindedness.

  • Dull-mindedness has a hyphen.

ps- just because you're one of those guys who attempts to get over their napoleon complex on the internet doesn't mean that you're going to. I could rip you a new one, however, I don't get off by trying to be a tough guy in front of a computer screen like yourself.

  • Crushme,

You couldn't rip me a new one if it was to save your mother from being raped by a rabid mandingo.

There's nothing you can do about your Low IQ.

You were born within the limits of your lowly genetics, and forever will be trapped within a mental swamp of things everyone else here thought through and out of, by age 12.

I know it's frustrating losing so badly to me in this banter but you're not genetically capable of doing anything about it, so don't be angry, just cry it out.

  • there is absolutely no such thing as a 15th note. trust me, i'm a music major. it's not possible to play a 15th note--there are whole, half, quarter, eighth, 16th, 32nd, and so on.

  • No, it's 15th notes.

  • do you have disorders of the eyesight or the hearing?

  • yes, definetly, "we're finished!"

  • what does he say at the end? Sounds like "Perfect" but said like "poyfect"...

  • i think he says "we're finished..." very fastly

  • yes now you say it i can hear it =)

  • i hear "wicked"...but i disagree with it :)

  • Thom(L)

  • the song is in 5/15, because they are playing 15th notes because the song is called 15 steps DUH. =-D

  • you dumbass .. no its 5/8 cuz theres no such thing as a 15th note DURR!!.. 5 counts/15th note? uh no.

  • Sounds like 10/16 to me.

  • 5/8 just means there are 5 eight notes per measure.

  • Yes there is, it resolves after 3 bars of 5/4, meaning the last beat before the resolve is beat 15

    well done

  • Theyr not playing 15th notes, that would be very stupid and queer. The songs called 15 step because it resolves after 3 bars of 5/4, meaning there are 15 beats before it resolves

  • I've heard a "Brigado" at the satrt... are you brazilian ?

  • eu ouvi o "brigado" também!

    hahahahahahahaha

  • dude, you had the best seat in that place. i mean look at the angle

  • wow. 15 step's debut! and the audience has the clapping nailed. sweet!

  • Te AMO LOKILLO

  • wow! thom goes crazy!

  • LOVE penguine happy feet moment at 2:10!!!! soooo cute!!!xxx love your work thom. and yours gnuguitou!!! radio on!

  • you used to be alright. what happened? b.e.a.utiful.

  • regardless, it's a great performance. it's a live show, things happen..machines break and people make mistakes. if anything, little fuck-ups like that make it even more interesting.

  • actually the mess up didn't happen because of the bassist. what happened was, there was a mishap with the sampler (the one that makes that cool droning guitar sound), because Ed (the guy on the left, not the bassist) didn't come in on the cue. there's another video of this song from the same gig, and you can clearly see techs running up to him to fix the darn thing.

  • Hahahahaah! The Penguin Dance!

    Awesome performance.

  • Radiohead is just fantastic. When the bassist messed up you could barley tell and thom handled it beautifully by pointing to him when he should come back in.

  • RaDiOHeaD''!!''

  • Poor Colin haha

  • haha, nice dance at "15 steps..." Thom.

  • Did anyone catch the mess-up on mister guitarist behind thom at 2:34? that's a disappointment.

  • That was Colin, the bassist, and that was funny.

  • best song of the album

  • peter garret is a better dancer, if you dont know who he is find out. thom rocks tho

  • you're gay.

  • Gay is good!

  • Grow up.

  • If you look further down the comments you will see that someone called another person "gay" for saying that Thom Yorke is a good dancer. My response to that "gay is good" was a lighthearted, throw away remark.

Now, go back to the gutter where you belong and stop preaching homophobia on a Radiohead performance page - I doubt very much that any member of Radiohead would endorse your bizarre take on life. Are you even a fan? Do you know anything about them and their values?

    Silly boy. Lol...

  • haha the crowd are struggling with those claps

  • Lol, because it's in 5/8 xD not everybody's able to time that:P

  • *5/4,

i really dont blame them mate

  • why is it 5/4? I'm a drummer and play this song al the time, and if I would count it out it's 5/8, because the drums are really one beat in 5 eigth notes, which is repeated all the time(with some variations). The only track I could think of in 5/4 are the vocals, but it seems to me like they are spread over 2 bars. But well, not that important actually:P

  • yeah dude it really doesnt matter 5/8 and 5/4 are basically the same thing its just that they are different because of speed. like you would count it differently:5/8=1+2+3,1+2+3,1+2+3, etc. whi9le 5/4 is just 12345,12345,12345. like this song is 5/8 because of the speed. like it reals all comes back to conducting if you conducted this song in 5/4 you would be flailing your arms like crazy fast. but really they are played exactly the same

  • Totally agree, but there is some theory involved in using 5/8 instead but who gives a shit!

Love radiohead, in rainbows is the buisiness

  • the song is actually written in 10/8

  • you could say the guitar melody follows that sig, however the drums are strictly 5/4 and thats what you measure proper time sig in, the rhythm, which is measured using the drums in this instance.

  • Amazing dance!

  • Beautiful quality-thanks so much for posting> I love the way he dances - he's having fun with it and just being Thom Yorke. Awesome!

  • Has anyone noticed that the lyrics seem to be different in this performance than they are on the album?

  • =) Just amazing! This June I'll go to their concert in Amsterdam! Can't wait!

  • I love his dancing, completely careless and worry-free.

  • Why does Thom York dance so funny?

  • because its awesome

  • Becouse thats how god dance thom york is only showing to all of us

  • That wouldve been amazing to see live

  • Radiohead are comning to Roskilde 08

  • haha, he acts on stage just like me. That's awesome. He earned it though.

  • thom ya saco su propio estilo de bailar XD!!!

  • grande thom!|

  • great dancer lol that was great though

  • cool sound&funny dance

  • Don't think so.
