I was under the impression that the VGAs is considered gamings shame. It is the one found on Spike tv and its just a massive ad fest. Sorry im UK so im not completely up to date on my american tv channels

When you claim that Modern Warfare 3 beat Battlefield 3 and took shooter of the year, you must be referring to the Video Game Awards. Now, you should know that over the year, VGA and similar game critique industries have reviewed and scored many games, such as BF3 and MW3. Overall, BF3 has earned significantly more awards and higher review scores than MW3. Now when VGA suddenly awards the most rehashed, uncreative, and flawed "shooter of the year", you know Activision payed up the ass for that.
