Wonderful to see all the familiar faces of SJA Coventry. Brought back all the good memories I was there in 1997-1998 attached to City of Coventry whilst studying in my final year in Coventry University. Dennis and Madge, if you are still with SJA... I'm proud to be one of your team members.
This year was my first Remembrance Sunday Event with St John Ambulance. I had only done drill about 4 times before the march. I didn't have a uniform or even started my membership award (had only been in for a month) but I was there and I felt proud. Maybe I wasnt the best person at march, but I can say the some of the Air Cadets where worse than me.
I maybe not trained in first aid but that was what our role was for the event, we just happened to march as well.
Wow, wonderful. Was in SJA for 10 yrs and i know the commitment it takes. Keep up the good work and its good to see so many of you guys n gals doing a great job!! :)
afraid marching isnt our priority with all the big first aid events we cover, but at the end of the day at least we show up to show our respects on rememberace day, surely thats what matters, not the level of the parade! Very small minded opinions on here
BTW did anyone ever remove the pole from roberts A*s? lmao

Probably because they spend more time training to save lives than marching, which is the way it should be! I was a St John member here in NZ.
