Probabaly to get a free education but regardless of the situation when your country calls and you signed that dotted line, don't start crying when the bullets start to fly. It was your choice. You are 47, I don't think the draft was in place ,so why did you join the military?
It was fun, I liked the Army of that I'm not bitter but I don't buy the political horse shit that goes along with it.... I AM bitter when I think of all the userous simplistic arrogant lies that all governments are built on.
The real enemy that any people have is usually their own government and power structure not some one else's. But the rich, (being usually addicted to power and money like a junky to his heroin) as always want more, so they manipulate others to murder and die to get it for them,(seeing as that is the way they probably became rich in the first place). Using childish lies that tweak ancient tribal impulses.
