great guide with minimum effort; good job! BTW Medium is easy; just use 2 nukes instead of one. I got 4000 kills on Medium with 2 Nukes and a LOT of Tazer Landmines.

At 1400 kills, the tazers started having very little effect, enemies got through quickly, and the slow nuke couldn't keep up. I have no idea what I did differently, I think everything was within combo range as with you, including the rate of fire mod to the tazers. I'm trying it again with a damage mod or two near the tazers this time.

i think that your lying because i played this on medium and it worked fine...as soon as i went to hard or extreme i couldnt make enough money to keep upgrading the rocket so they made it to the base at at the upgrade that cost 1200. can you please tell me how to solve that.

update: I tried it again on medium classic map and this strategy worked fine on the classic map. I have no idea why it didn't work before on Lyne, but I tried twice and kept having problems when I tried to upgrade damage on the first yellow tower

well, i ended up making a few modifications to this setup and managed to get almost 1600 kills...i added another damage and rate maxxed taser tower just below the 2 at the top left and a big damage up tower covering all the tasers...also added another nuke combo on the underside of the path just ahead of the first...only got 2 big damage ups to cover both nukes before they got through and i died...

did everything exactly as you did in this video and can only get to a max of 1406 kills...I made sure I placed the towers exactly where you placed them, upgraded exactly what and how you upgraded, and they always get through before the 1500 kills...I don't get it

Because hard and extreme use COMPLETELY DIFFERENT creep health scaling mechanics.  To beat hard mode, you have to use a multi-headed laser chain to fund your first combo

yep, Extreme is a steady 115% times the previous one, while hard is a lot different (dunno the exact details) but it curves a lot more steepily at the beginning than later on...

Actually, it does work much past Wave 25. Were you upgrading in the video and doing what he says? Your rocket, at this point can take out anyone, so you're definitely doing something wrong if you are "allways at wave 25 it's over."

Works like a charm, but god help you after the 1500 mark. That is a serious jump in creep strength, they just powered right through.

That is because extreme is the easiest mode in the beginning, but after a while (around wave 100) it becomes by far the hardest one

it doesn't work for me, i don't know what i'm doint wrong. i tried the same strategy on hard mode, thinking that this might be even easier. but i didn't get very far.

when i build a rocket turret, upgrade RoF twice and the damage as far as possible, i only get to wave 22, from then on the attackers are too strong to be eliminated with one shot and the turret is too slow to kill a whole wave of 10 attackers.

i read your laser chain guide and i was wondering why you are upgrading only the last laser and head laser turret and then using damage ex?? shouldn't you upgrade all lasers power in the chain??

If you take a poke around for my chain calculator, you'll see that the only thing that affects chain power is the last couple turrets, and the total number of links. The only reason to use the exch turrets is to minimize shorts in the chain. in a proper chain, the 10th turret from the back provides less than 0.1% of the total chain power.

It doesn't, actually. For some weird reason, this strategy only seems to work for extreme. In other modes, the creeps level up too quickly, and you can't upgrade the turret fast enough to keep them from getting by and into the base.
