  • Stupid bitch....alcohol is a gateway drug!! How about coffee, how about the shit sold by pharmacuticals....PISS OFF!!

  • Chief chicken shit fat head

  • The fight for Marijuana decriminalization needs a better spokesperson than Rob Kampia. With all due respect to the man, he always looks completely stoned and really is not much of a speaker.

  • Milk is a gateway substance. We all started on milk.

  • 2:25 what a loose shitty joint.

  • legalize marijuana

  • If we legalize marijuana , alchohol and tobacco sales will drop tremendously which is a good thing

  • christ. it's not 70s weed? mids have always been mids, i know this cuz ive asked people who smoked then and do now. kronic is way more potent, but actually, this is better because most people smoke less chronic at one time, it's healthier for your lungs. it's a bullshit argument anyway. potency is irrelevant, 1 gram of mids isn't healthier/unhealthier than 1 gram of kron.

  • We love Rob!!!!

    Woot woot

    he rocks!

  • Wow! That was the first time i heard a law enforcement official tip their hand as to where they are putting their research money at ...ENGLAND and AUSTRALIA..... makes sense... some of the worst reefer madness is coming out of england

  • fuck the mainstream media!

  • I hate the whole argument about marijuana being "more powerful today thus more dangerous". That's ridiculous. THC is a non-toxic compound in marijuana smoke. Thus the more concentration of THC, the less harm to the user, you also have to inhale less smoke for the same intoxication. The argument is moot.

  • ^^ SO TRUE ^^ If they knew anything about pot they would know that it is impossible to overdose on THC, and like you said the more potent the better, more THC less smoke. The arguement is just the new gateway theory dude it will soon be disproven and they will have to find something new to bitch about. It will probably be "Marijuana smoke contributes to global warming" or some crazy shit.

  • The gateway theory is invalid, it's a reason to legalise. By legalising marijuana, you put it in a legal market along with cigarettes and alcohol, and so it will have just as much gateway effect as those two substances. As it is, it can be a gateway drug due to the fact that it is easy to meet cocaine dealers through marijuana dealers than through buying a bag of grass from a liquor store.

  • yeah i was saying because its disproven they have to scare people with something else, the pot is stronger now!! oh god scary!!

  • "Talked about in an open manner".....umm don't you mean a debate!

  • every marijuana debate i EVER listen to leaves me seething. anti-pot debaters run circles around themselves, spewing garbage. the bottom line is pot does not kill and has never killed a single human being. alcohol and tobacco are ridiculous dangerous drugs that are legal and lethal. if citizens have the right to engage in the use of such dangerous drugs as those, marijuana and all other drugs should be legalized, regulated, and taken out of the hands of gangs. FUCKING DUH!!!

  • Not only that but prohibition in itself is a blatant violation of personal freedom and civil liberty. The temperance movement was nothin but religious zealots with a naive sense of morality legislating those morals on the rest of the citizenry. "Its for their own good", they said. But I'll tell you what, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

  • "Pot is a gateway to harder drugs",

I can spew random ridiculous arguments with no basis too!

"Masturbation is a gateway to rape".

I'm sure if anyone looked at the facts, most rapists started their sexual rampage with pleasuring themselves. Yep. It's the same logic.

If you play with yourself, odds are you'll be a rapist by the same reasoning.

  • true. i never thought of it that way.

  • Also, why is it everytime I see Kampia on TV he always looks stoned, eyes shut, cottonmouth ? With all do respect, I like Kampia I just think the legalization movement needs an.........Obama.

  • If only Terence McKenna were alive.....

  • yes if only...

  • you just made my day! Long live Terrence!

  • ^_^

Terence may be gone in body but lives eternally in spirit!

I think the best living speaker on the subject of drug policy that I've seen so far is Ethan Nadelmann. He's smart as a whip!

  • thanks for intruducing him to me :)

  • This seems to be the best opportunity in decades to legalize and we cant blow this. Every lie and myth has to be squashed with facts and science ! The debate Schwarzenegger is calling for has to be the best performance that person has ever done and leave without a doubt in an average american's mind, that legalization is the best option !

  • Again the prohibitionist has way more air time but I am disapointed in Kampia and most debates ive seem from the pro-legalize side on TV. Now I know they dont give you much time but way to many attacks go un-answered from the prohibitionists. When asked about Barry's quote, Kampia missed pointing out that no one is suggesting "childeren should smoke weed". The very quote and question was just stupid anyway.

  • The only thing that qualifies Marijuana as a gateway drug are the lies told about it. When some kid tries it, and finds out they been lied to about it, they might assume that they have been lied to about all drugs, and want to try more. In this way and only this way, it is a gateway drug, and the easiest way to stop it's gateway function is to legalise it and stop telling lies about it.

  • I'm glad for the upcoming weed debate.

Drug dealers are the gateway, not the weed. If you need to go to a criminal to get criminal things, why stop at weed? If buying an ounce was going to the pharmacist, well it would be hard to cross the line.

Al Capones are running around with money from weed sales, causing violent criminal acts all throughout. Prohibition didn't work, neither does marijuana criminalization. It puts the money in the wrong hands.

  • DUDE! if weed was legal IT WOULDNT BE A GATEWAY DRUG NOMORE!!! GOD PPL ARE RETARTED

  • Its not a gateway drug now. Even the idea of a gateway is fucking stupid. You make a choice. You decide to smoke weed. Or maybe you decide to smoke crack. There is no gateway, only choices.

  • Prohibition is a gateway drug.

  • no cuz i can be a gateway cuz smokin weed can eventually lead to meeting ppl wit somethin else than weed where you mightve not met that person if you didnt smoke, but still that doesnt happen often and ppl overexaggerate it waaay too much about how weed is a gateway drug.. the ppl against weed are ppl THAT DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT WEED AT ALL!!

  • That is exactly what I meant.

  • oalight

  • wow that guy at 0:38 is a fuckin stoner! lol

  • illegal or legal I'm going to smoke, so all your doing by keeping it illegal is isolating and criminalizing large chunks of the population. Pretty fucking stupid when you think about it. Also if you legalized prostitution you wouldnt have cragslist prostitutes getting killed because they would work at a secure, regulated facility closely connected with law enforcement. people are really dumb when it comes to common "crime"

  • wow so true!!

  • Marijuana helps me with minor insomnia, depression, anxiety, concentration problems, and makes me live a better life. My doctor perscribed me with trazodone (a sleeping pill) which makes me feel terrible every morning and doesn't give me a good nights sleep, which marijuana does and lets me wake up feeling rejuvinated. He doesn't understand that weed helps me. I don't want to be arrested for using a PLANT that helps me live a better life. It's time to recognize that it's not harmful. Legalize!

  • Stronger or not stronger, it's irrelevant.

    It should be legal.

And it's great no matter what strain it is.

    The end. :]]

  • indica and sativa are different in ways.,.....

  • I'm here, did some one call?

  • i still feel like a criminal for staying in my own house minding my own, the gov just wants to control this for the medical chemical paper and many outher industry's but most importantly you mind WAKE UP PEOPLE

  • it is true that the marijuana potency is much higher today due to new strains and such but that doesnt mean its any more dangerous at all. Look at the main chemical THC proven to be safer than a double cheese burger at mcdonalds, never killing anyone, the bud is still just as safe as ever so you can't say its any more dangerous today

  • no it's not true that marijuana is more potent today. What does new strains have to do with anything.. more doesnt mean better. Alot of the high potency strains we have today are from the 70's and 80's anyway. The test that they ran back in the 60's and 70's was probably largely done on MExican Schwag. doesnt mean that there wasn't good bud back then.

  • yes it is true. Alot of strains are breeds of different types of marijuana, today we are cultivating more than ever. Just look at Green Crack, that was not around for more than 15 years and my dad agrees with me that most of the shit now is way better. But maybe thats because i live in Norcal

  • I hate when people say their dad says bud is better now. SO WHAT? You cant use him and his simple experience to speak for a whole species. Marijuana has been around 6000 years.. there is nothing new about high potency strains. And just because a specific strain wasn't around 15 years ago doesn't mean it hasn't been other strains just as potent. I've smoked a good 50 strains from California medical dispensaries and there is nothig special about them. Hybrids don't mean better.. just more diverse.

  • But yea this just proves that alot of young people don't understand marijuana like they think they do.. and they are generally caught up in all the hype that comes with all the new strains. Cross Breeding doesnt automatically give you more potent bud. Sometimes it can bring out the WORST of both strains that you bred. It's all about what traits the offspring shows. So stop with the misinformation.

  • okay seriously people its obvious to me that the potency of marijuana is not growing but the frequency of high THC marijuana is growing

  • wrong

new advances in herpetology have made all plants better, there are many herpitoligist who study in Holland and make great fertilizers just for weed, and this makes weed change with advances, also different strands lights and all kinds of factors decide the potency of the strain.

So you should say weed changes with every advance, because that is what is really happening.

  • different stands of light??? All artificual lighting can do is better imitate the sun. So there will never be any lights that will ever produce a better effect than the sun.. only try and get closer to reproducing. As for fertilizers there have always been great ORGANIC ferts for as long as people have been farming. All that stuff does is help improve growth.. making plants more vigorous. Has nothing to do with THC %.

  • hahahah

    so so so wrong...

    Strands is Strands of weed...

I did not say anything compares to the sun.

Indoor gives us the power to control the plants.

new fertilizers made more for weed than anything else defiantly have changed the THC levels... You are so wrong and so ill educated on this man.. new products come out yearly for indoor or outdoor growers to use. Due to science everything changes.. anything can be pushed to the BRINK

  • ( strands, lights and all )

  • They need to get some flame fuckin bud in these little film things

  • rob looks stoned in this one haha

  • Saying that marijuana has become more dangerous due to it's raise in THC-percentage is bullshit. THC is the psychoactive compound of marijuana. Someone who smokes marijuana will smoke until he has the desired effect. Therefore, people will even smoke less nowadays because of these raised values and breathe in less hot smoke.

  • OMG MSNBC needs more B-roll!

  • that chief is a idiot marijuana does not compound the marijuana that was tested from the sixties were in poor storage condition and the THC level dropped

  • not only that but back then most of the marijuana seized was probably MExican Schwag... High THC marijuana is more AVAILABLE now... not anything new. It's increased availability would mean that there would be more seizures of that type of Marijuana. But anyway just look up strains like Columbian Gold, Acapulco Gold, Thai Stick, Purple Haze, Blueberry all just about 30 yrs old if you think high THC MJ is anything new.

  • People think pot is stronger, Because of stupid fucks like this cop that is clueless as to how marijuana was processed in 70s.

Back then people smoke the buds with the leafs and pieces of stems and seed all mixed ( still sold in the streets like that in some places )

Now days people smoke only buds in the "sinsemilla" stage that was harvest at the right time and dried the right way. so pot now shows a bit better % of THC than the old shit, pot is not stronger, the smokers are smarter!

  • if the pot is stronger, smoke less for effect.

cannabis is a GREAT medicine in that one can self-regulate their doses.

If one smokes TOO much, they go to sleep.

if that is not the desired effect, smoke less next time.

stronger pot equals better value for the consumer.

i smoke WAY less than i did in the 70's, yet i recieve the same desired effect i was seeking back then.

    Progress is great!

  • I think alcohol is the gateway drug not marijuana. I was drunk before and felt careless and tried other drugs that I would never dare to try if I was sober or high on marijuana. When ever this issue comes up about pot being the gateway drug I chuckle.

  • "That's not the marijuana we're talking about today."

Shut up. Just shut the fuck up. Jeezus, that is the DUMBEST fucking argument against pot legalization.

  • WE WANT FREEDOM NOW!!!!!!!!!!

  • It is time to legalize Marijuana. Boost the economy by taxing and regulating it and take the pot profits out of the hands of criminals and the drug cartel.

  • You go Rob Kampia...

  • people think that obama was going to get elected and legalize on his first day on the job he doesnt care that you voted for him

i do think we are close to decriminalization there have been more and more of these updates on the news and the media seems to be finally backing its use rather than talking like all these government puppets that its dangerous

    BURN ONE FOR FREEDOM

  • Will do, stolendrugs

  • Either you is or you aint. Arnold can't say in one breath, he'd like to see a debate on this issue, then say he doesn't support it. That's the same thing as saying "i want to see a debate with this issue because I am dissatisfied with the way that things are, but I also fully support and agree with the way that things are"

  • it has been proven that the prohibition of weed is the gateway because it drives people to go to drug dealers who dont sell just weed

  • ur an idiot

  • no sir i have done the research and i have heard a reputable expert say that exact thing

  • hey douche biggalo take a look at the other comments there alot of these people that said the exact same thing so ithink that you my good man are in fact the idiot

  • There is research dating back 100 years, don't even try to tell me there isn't RESEARCH!!! There are 2 legal drugs called Marinol and Sativex which are made from Cannabis...That tells us right there that there is research. Freaking legalize it already...This plant will save your ass one day, don't underestimate its POWER!

    Peace and Unity

  • Marinol is synthetic THC (and includes only some of the compounds found in marijuana), it's not as good as something that can be grown without alteration.

  • Hemp is used in many different ways-rope, paper, clothes, oils, etc, etc!, and what most people don't know is that hemp grown for the above has such a low THC level(2%?)that people smoking it wouldn't get high! Our government KNOWS this stuff but the special interest groups are running the show!!!!!!

  • Marijuana will never be legal or decriminalized anytime soon. People are too programmed by the propaganda. Even politicians who know the truth (obama) won't even touch this issue. He knows he won't get re-elected if he does. Atleast thats what he thinks. This issue is the reason I voted for him. Sucks he went back on his word from 2004

  • ha, he is wearing the same jacket and pink shirt from the other video.

  • Wow, he wore the same shirt for more than a couple hours.

  • Wow, your an asshole, I didn't know it was all in the same day.

  • The only reason cannabis is a "gateway drug" is because you are led to believe that weed is really bad for you, and so many other lies. And after a teenager, or young adult, or anyone for that matter, tries it and nothing bad happens, then the feeling is, "I wonder what other drugs they lied to me about." If marijuana is legal and not bashed on and lied about, the chances of it being a gateway drug would decrease dramatically. Stop lying to your children!!

  • i like where this is goin

  • uhh.. i dont know n e 1 who smoked pot before having their first alchoholic drink...so maybe alchohol is a gateway drug..but then again alot of people jst use alchohol..i think pot is a gateway drug in the sense that it brings people into the illegal drug market...i think its a gateway drug due to its illegal status and not due to the drug itsself..also strictlyjst use pot...i would never try meth or heroin ect due to the knowledge i have of the effects of those drugs. pot cant change that lol

  • the taxes i pay on my cigarettes helps keep kids off cigarettes.

the taxes i would pay on pot could do the same thing.

kids under 18 should NOT drink or smoke. some will do both no matter what. educate them until they are 18, then it's their choice.

cannabis is NOT the gateway to hard drugs...

    THE BLACK MARKET IS!

  • hear hear!

  • I still feel that marijuana is enabled to be more of a gateway drug while it's still illegal. In the minds of children it puts marijuana and crack on the same playing field, and when they find out that pot is not that bad at all, they wonder if something like crack might not be too bad either; plus they're already at their drug dealer's house or in prison with the really bad drug addicts. Wish Rob had said something like that.

  • How many reports, commisions and studies need to be done. I have personally read about 100 of them and thats only about 5% of what's out there. They will do as normal and just ignore the results and do as they please.

  • How about alcohol? Could that not be considered a gateway drug? There has been plenty of research done around the world...HOW MUCH MORE FUCKING EVIDENCE DO YOU NEED? The criminalization of marijuana started out as racism, but it was the lobby of big oil and the chemical comps. that quashed hemp as an industrial material and why we are where we are!

  • well put

  • Yeah, good point, CHIEF--more research...except that the American gov't has blocked any real research for years! Oh, here we go again! Back in the early days, the American gov't lied to the public and told them it would cause insanity and smokers would commit murder; then they tried say it was bad as it would make soldiers too laid back and NOT want to kill; NOW this cop is saying that today's weed is so much stronger now that we are all going to become really laid back killers...or SOMETHING!?!

  • that is a funny point, 'oh this weed isn't the same as the 60's weed' yeah no shit...so you smoke a lot less, it's great! this whole debate is retarded and pisses me off!

  • i love that NBC used the same stock footage over and over again.

  • ....More research? They just WANT to find a reason for it to be legalized. They will find something like "it's green because of oxygen!" and make it illegal. They just have no grounds for their arguments, and they so desperately want something so they can be right.

Nothing should be ILLEGAL until PROVEN that it is TOXIC! Too bad they wont be able to find anything else. Morons.

  • Why are they asking cops their opinion? Cops opinions should be what the people tell them their opinions are. They are here to work for the people not to be there parents!!!

  • The "gateway" arguement is like saying because I drank milk I'm bound to drink whiskey, it's ridiculas. It's the prohabition that doesent work. I'm not trying to sell you the arguement and I don't care what you do with the money, put it in a pile and burn it but the benifit alone to taking it off the black market and out of criminal hands and making that cash a resourse or not,,,it's like we are following the rabbit down the hole...what are we STUPID,,of course it should be legalized and taxed.

  • My reply to anything of the "gateway" arguments is that the people wanted a particular effect when they went after marijuana, and they didn't get what they wanted, so they moved onto bigger things. It's not marijuana's fault.

It's like going from chamomile tea to moonshine.

  • my reply to the gateway argument is that all the studies don't support it. But your point is well made too.

  • The only argument they ever seem to put forward, is that it's a "gateway drug". And they always claim this as fact.

But that concept holds no truth in reality. It was made up from a backwards correlation. There is NO evidence whatsoever to support it.

If it was a true, we would have millions of HARD drug users in this country. But we only have a few ten thousand or so.

Clearly most Marijuana users do NOT move onto harder drugs.

So we all know the gateway is false!

    Kill the gateway argument!

  • people have been smoking pot for over 3,000 years and there is still not enough research available? is this guy crazy?

  • Here's a fun fact!

If Marijuana acts as a gateway drug for you, you should not be doing ANY drugs period. This kind of behavior indicates that the person has the addictive gene.

  • In the words of Linval Thompson..."MAriJuAnA!!!..I love it through my HEaRt and SouL!"...

  • he looks toked up hahaha! love this fucker

  • Gateway back drug!

  • "I don't think a debate would be the proper form. It need's to be talked about in an open manner."

Ok this guy is really stupid. What is the difference between a debate and an open discussion?

This gateway bullhsit is when you have a dealer that want's to make more money, and will do so by trying to sell you the hard stuff that you CAN get hooked on and keep coming back to him. LEGALIZE it and take that dealer out of the equasion, and you have no more gateway effect. Plain and simple.

  • Ok this guy is really stupid. What is the difference between a debate and an open discussion?

A debate requires an opposing view, were as a 'an open discussion" only requires the room to be filled with one opinion.

  • Nobody had exactly the same opinion about everything. If you have a room filled with people, you ARE going to have differing viewpoints. I know what a debate is. An open discussion is just an informal version, but it's doing basically the same thing. A person puts forth an idea, and tries to get the other person to agree, or to at least see why they believe the way they do.

  • More research? how much more evidence do u need that its a good plant? the govt. dismisses any evidence that shows the pros to using MJ.

  • I'm sure as hell glad I don't get all my information on the Drug War and drugs from television. What a useless medium TV is becoming.

  • Fucking police chief fuck.. he neglected to mention how much money his department gets from the federal government to harass US citizens and trample on our personal liberties. We all know that pot is totally harmless and I'm sick of these lying fucks going on TV and voicing an opinion thats based on lies and racism. LEGALIZE IT !

  • THC is non-toxic. Alcohol is toxic and causes tens of thousands of deaths every year from direct and indirect consequences of abuse. Tobacco kills tens of thousands of people per year due to cancer. There is not one documented case of cancer caused by marijuana. All of this is true, and yet alcohol and tobacco are legal products while marijuana remains illegal. Where is the common sense in that?

Logic? Reason? Common sense? Those things don't exist in the minds of marijuana prohibitionists.

  • Bravo Rob, this is the first video I have seen of yours that I didn't you lacked substance. Again, Bravo.

  • That bowl of weed looks like the dirtiest china bud ever.

  • yea dude, stems and fucking seeds

  • I never ever even tried cigarettes, they are disgusting to me, and alcohol makes me sick, weed on the other hand has actual medicinal value. What hell USA?! Mexico and Canada are both ahead of us in this debate (lucky i live on the border) FREE THE WEED!!!!!

  • I agree with you wakeboarder, i have been smoking for 2 years and i have never done any harder drug unless mine herb was laced (not on purpose) and i have only done one or 2 cigs.... the government is filling our ears with propaganda nadi say... ITS TIME TO MOVE TO CANADA OR AMSTERDAM!!!!!

  • GATEWAY DRUG?!?! I smoke pot but I have never smoked a cigarette I rarely drink and I have never even thought about any "harder" drug/

  • Yea, it's a gateway drug, and if I had never smoked weed, I probably would never have used ecstacy. However, it's only a gateway b/c it is the gateway to the underground world of drug business. If weed were legal and available in stores, I would never have met the people who also offered coke, ex, ketamine, acid. I would like to say though, that I have been offered a line of coke twice, and when I was high, I was like "nah dude, I'm good" but when I was drunk, I was like "bring that sheitz on!"

  • Very well said...I too found myself trying new drugs after starting to smoke weed but mainly because the same guy who sold me weed had many other drugs and would offer samples. Also found myself much more willing to try new drugs while drunk, it's so much easier to get anyone to do something new when they are drunk rather than high. Ppl say that weed is worse than tobacco for your lungs yet after years of cigarettes I stopped and lungs feel great even though I smoke lots more weed now.

  • It is also prooved that marijuana smokes live 1-2 years longer than if they didn't smoke. Many athletes also smoke marijuana before working out since it enhances their ability to maximize their training. It works in the sense that the bronks in the lungs are withened, expanded, wich makes it possible to optimize the oxygen uptake into the bloodstream.

    (sorry for my spelling)

  • For serious?

  • hi...search utube for Dr. Robert Melamede. in very scientific talk, he explains WHY cannabis smoke is so different from tobacco smoke.

    probably a coincidence, but...

i am the only surviving member of my immediate family without heart disease or artery issues. Over 20 bypass.stint operations 'tween 3 people. Me...NONE.

Although it is no coincidence that i have smoked pot for over 35 years; it MIGHT be one that i don't have the issues my non-smoking relatives do.

  • I understand the law originated in 1937 due largely to racism, but beyond that. I still have the one question I was asking 20 years ago. Irregardless of any and all facts, when and why did "we the people" decide that the federal government, and state governments were better suited to make personal preference decisions for "us", than we are. I thought the whole point of a "FREE COUNTRY" was to give it's people the freedom to make choices for themselves, not give the government our choices to make

  • bump

  • The research is done. The jury is in on this one. We know what marijuana is and how it affects people. That's why we are saying LEGALIZE IT.

  • What does he mean study it as the actual crude material, its a fucking plant, you don't chemically change it, there is no crude form its marijuana or its not. It's now largely theorized that marijuana does NOT act as a gateway drug. It's misinformation like this that helps marijuana prohibition continue.

  • THC has been "proven" to kill brain cancer producing cells ... dont even fucking go their 'cheif' haha

  • "We have to study very carefully other countries which have legalized marijuana"...

Exactly which countries is mr Arnie talking about?

  • Holland, Spania & Russland have decriminilized it and England looks like is on it's way... (I think)

  • of course the cop wants it illegal. he wants to keep his job and his funding coming in to fight this "evil" drug.

    legalize regulate tax it

  • The caller said we need to look at the crude content of MJ and view it scientifically. If we were doing this from the start, it would have never been illegalized. I don't know what else needs to be proven, honestly. Tobacco is bad for you, but people smoke it because adults should have the right to make a decision like that. If the associated behavior is of no concern then WHAT'S THE FUCKING PROBLEM?

Let's tell cops they may no longer use alcohol or tobacco and see how they like that.

  • I don't understand why people keep bringing up the gateway theory, despite it having been proven to be an unsupported, preposterous myth every time it is discussed on tv.

What we need is a PSA to be aired on national tv, on all stations, stating facts (and facts only) about the cannabis plant, cannabis use, etc. And I think it would be better for it to be funded and sponsored by people who care about science and facts, not personal ideals and fear-mongering.

  • Yes Yes Yes Yes........

  • Why is it so often that police officers are brought into debates on the subject of legalization? They have their jobs and a ton of funding because it is illegal. Of course they are going to oppose it. Aside from that, why do people always get caught up in the health effects issue? Cigarette smoking has killed more people in the time took me to write this than marijuana smoking ever has, but you can buy cigarettes anywhere if you're 18. It's just a war against civil liberties. Support freedom.

  • Moor research What do you need to know ? That has not been tested......

  • More research needed? Its proven to be safer then alcohol. Alcohol is legal.

There are gaps in this mans intelligence.

  • Chief-YOU ARE OUT OF TOUCH!! I too would like to see more research HOWEVER, it's the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT that's shutting that down because THEY THINK they know what's best! They should get off their ... and get the research done! In addition, YES have the debates-it can't hurt!!

  • its not msnbc that sucks.... but i hate that all the people who stand up against legalizing marijuana give the dumbest answers and ramble on....and WTF was he talking about saying the marijuana today is not the same as it was in the 60's and 70's? um i believe were still talking bout thc Chief. ha ha he likes arresting hundreds of thousands for non violent crime for his paychecks.

  • yea I agree with the cop, why have a debate when you know you gonna be over whelmed with scientific facts, and raped to death on the issue

  • All mainstream news corporations suck =)

    TheRealNews FTW

  • why does msnbc suck so bad...

  • chief scott kirkland:

    "BEWARE OF TOXIC SUPER TREES!"

  • lol

  • More research needed? What more could we possibly need to know about it?

And I love how at 2:45 when the cheif can't come up with an answer, he just babbles on.

  • Good point!
