God is Real!!! Saints are real too........ Jesus is so real...i can see Jesus every times im praying to him.. i saw him appeared in Devine Mercy Picture..... He healed me from HPV oral warts.. and gave me a special gift that i can see his FACE and his whole body....... but i cant hear his voice yet..... nor speak in tounge..i also can feel the Holy Spirit blowing cool fresh air through my left ear 24/7... Trust in God Jesus please... im begging you guys...
@DrewAnti1960 maybe in the US your not but in other country like mine Saints are being worshiped. It's just sad cuz Saints are just good people and not God.
Who is the little boy at his feet? He's at 0:22. And who is that boy at the side of the case at 0:23.? Strange that he should be there. They're very tiny, too. Strange!
People Please. Its the 21st century, catholic churches across Europe - for centuries - announced that they had relics (including Jesus foreskin) to increase their coffers. The Guy is wax. This is simply bizarre, though morbidly interesting.
Can anyone tell me from when on st vincents body has been put to display?
What I confused about is, if the body was put to display in the 16th century, did they use glass or any material to protect the body without covering it
@katnaej Definitely, the dead belong to earth, not public display. Do you think it would be appropriate for a woman to have her dead husband's corpse displayed in her house because he was a wonderful husband? What would people think of her? What would the community think of her? And more interestingly, what would a court think especially if she has kids living in the same house?
@killjoy545 - I agree, it is horrible, especially for young children. I went to the Church of Scotland when I was young and never saw anything like this. Also, I don't think they are real; probably waxworks like you see at Madame Tussauds.
@lanksareit They are exposed in Catholic churches. Nobody is forced to see them, only the catholic when they come to church. The cult of the relics exist since centuries.
@Deppaddicted There is so much wax and make up in there that would make it hardly stand out as a work of a human artist let alone as a miracle of God.
@killjoy545 Your opinion is based on your experiences and sense of modern values...however up until the last 50 years...this was common even in Western Culture. If you are every curious...you should research Post Mortiem Photography.
@killjoy545 It is not a bad thing to use ones imagination or to refer to literature that is not merely dull history. What, shall we throw out Romeo and Juliet and the prodigal son, Oedipus and Eruditshe for that matter? No the world is better off with it's stories and it's delightfull fiction as well as it's saints and their incorruptible bodies. Dullards & Illiteracy be damned
@uncatila I pointed out the use of "real", besides the corpse you saw is probably as "real" as the "imaginary" snow white, it's just piles of wax thats why it looked white
@katnaej Love the video. But why did you say "i'm deeeeeeeeeaaaad!" at 0:05 ? And then a very soft girl's voice said at 0:08 "Mary found a rose in Jerusalem." I guess that you didn't realize that some of your conversation would be heard. But why say that Mary found a rose in Jerusalem? Well, she most likely did. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for this very much for this inspirational vdeo. As you say St. Vincents bones and heart are perfectly incorrupt and have been placed inside a wax figure of his body. His relics can be seen in the Church of St. Vincent de Paul in Paris.
Does that mean however that he is not incorrupt? The body we see here is a wax effigy is it not? I do not mean to be disrespectful as I very much admire this man and his mission.
Well, if the definition of 'Incorrupt' means that his whole body is perfectly preserved, then I suppose he is not (though I'm no expert on it). But I do know that it's a blessing to even have what we have. :)
@katnaej It's not a wax figure though, being incorrupt means the entire body is preserved (of course this can also vary in apperance, but it's still incorrupt).

(Acts 2 : 27 ) Supports incorruption of Saint's' Bodies
25
For David says of him: 'I saw the Lord ever before me, with him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed.
26
Therefore my heart has been glad and my tongue has exulted; my flesh, too, will dwell in hope,
27
because you will not abandon my soul to the netherworld, nor will you suffer your holy one to see corruption.
