brillant band! have an old cassete album 'a dram before ye go'..... glad to see the band going so well after a few years out! all the best for the future!!
Who is this Peroxide14 and how old are you??? I bet you don't know the WHOLE truth yourself. I have known this band, it's origins, and a lot of its members since the EARLY 1980's...so you think they forced their way into GR I...that's kinda funny!! Have you actually listened to them play?? Dave, Shauna, and Andre have done a FANTASTIC job putting TSPB back into GR I where they SHOULD be! And who is the BCPA..hmmm. Maybe that's why they were "foced" into GR I when they were still part of SFU.
I don't know who peroxide is but your on the right track. They have rebuilt TSPB back to a decent grade 1 band. 1/3 of their band came from RMM2/Graduated RMM3 players. Some people think TSPB and think about the conflicts between them and SFU, but just listen to what really counts, the sound. The BCPA is like the RSPBA, its the foundation for piping in the British Columbia. Some say they were "forced" others think they're good enough. Time will tell.
Thats kinda underhanded. Triumph Street is a completely different band with a different sound. I admire them for what they have accomplished in such a short period of time.
Really great
I kinda thought that the tune after stevie's first bar was slight overkill

anyone know the name of the tune that is played after the medley?

It is called 'Nyssa's Reel'. Composed by Alex Galloway, a member of TSPB.
