this spot has been fixed,  they moved the porting mech back about 10-15 yards.

Blizzard will be querying their db for players who have Cataclysm items through exploits starting a couple days before the Cataclysm release date (4th - 6th Dec), players found to be in possession of such items will receive a 3 - 14 day ban (depending on previous offenses). So you're likely to miss out on the first couple days/weeks of the Cataclysm release, which balances it out. (My friend is a GM and has been told to avoid banning people until these dates).

@BokoNOM First of all, 14 day bans do not exist, so your information is incorrect from the start. Bans are tiered in warning-3 hour-24 hours-72 hours-final warnings and permanent, that is all. Also, you could farm mobs outside of karazhan for cloth and gear before BC launched, blizzard banned none of these players. You could farm lvl 70+ mobs in ungoro before wotlk launched for cloth and gear, none of these players were banned. Your friend is not a GM, you are talking out of your ass.

@BokoNOM My brother bought some pre-cata items on ah (before release), and then i sent it to myself, as i could make a ticket for blizzard to answer, even though it never made it past the mailbox, blizzard spotted the items and took them, 1k lost :(

They've changed the No Man's Land debuff, it now INSTANTLY teleports you out of the zone.
