I love the Andrews Sisters but as far as the South of the Border numbers go this is weak to me. I do love Tico Tico but their contemporary Carmen Miranda has "Mama Yo Quiero" nailed.

Supposedly Patty and Maxine did have a final break with each other when they were appearing in a broadway play, something to do with Maxine getting married. I either heard Patty say so on the radio, or someone I heard said she said it. Anyway, this song is vocal perfection from the record studio, whatever was going on whenever that picture was taken.

@Gydinglight12...Try living, traveling, vacationing, recording, filming, singing, & socializing with your siblings for 36 years & see how happy you are. While the sisters had a successful, profitable commodity to protect, they couldn't have hated each other as much as the gossip columns stated.
