  • @woofle92 ball pythons are great starter snakes! the females top out around 5' (some getting 5 1/2') males generally smaller around 3-4'. they're normally great starters due to their docile nature. so if you're thinking of getting one for a first snake, go for it. i love mine!

  • @woofle92 best starter snake out there only problem is feeding iv got a boa two corns and ball pyhon they all eat ecry time apart from the python that will either eat evry week or not for months lol if that would wind you up get a corn snake a female royal will go to about 4 and half ft a corn will go about 5

spiders in canada are around 600 to 800 pastels 200-400 .

think the uk is more expensive

  • in the uk its illegel to feed live animals with a back bone or watever to snakes me and my nethew r going to go get a ball python tomorrow

  • hello snake bytes, i have a baby ball python that is about 4 months old and hes healthy and eats fine but he never curls into a ball. is this because hes just happy or could it be something else ????

  • not all ball pythons ball up. most likly hes relaxed so doesnt need to

  • SnakeBytesTV i have a problem with my ball python female she hasn't ate in 4 weeks now and iv've tried eveything but force feed i've change temp, the beading humdity tryed dead prey live and frozen i have a vid of them on my youtube of there home and this was one of there last feeding please help with any info thanks

  • @fallstow1

dont worrie, if shes not eating after 3 months then try force feeding, hold the base of the head her mouth will open put the face of the mous in her head and try to let go, the insinct will usually make the snake keep swolling. If you are not prepared or sure you can do this, take your snake to a breeder, they can show you.

A snake can go upto a year without eating fine

  • i deffinatley dont think force feeding is the anwser it just stresses them off. balls can fast for 22 months, dont worrie make sure the temps nd humidity is rite and he will eat when he ready

  • love it ball pythons are the best

  • wow that snake is beautiful how much do u think it can sell for cuz ive seen a ball python that was selling for like 8 grand or was it 800 i dont kno but it was expensive but it wasnt as pretty as that one so i bet that one is worth more

  • dude the super lori is amazing. great patterns. will u tell me how to produce one or is it like a secret or sumthing.

  • what do you feed em when you run out of rats

  • they dont run out

  • @mandmreptiles why dont they run out

  • well with a collection that big they either breed rodents or they get large shipments of them but im not sure...

  • U go and buy some more before u run out lol. Although adult royals can go for months without food i wouldn't let mine go hungry. I am sure they have hundreds around that place

  • awsome!

  • this show went way up hill from here!!!!!!! 5 stars though cuz its still a great show!

  • How big of an enclosure does 1 and a half foot ball python need?

  • @ozzysangel like a 15gal

  • @ozzysangel up to 500 grams they can be in a 6qt then move them to a 15qt then as an adult put them in a 32qt

  • @ozzysangel better off a 10 gal

  • thanks much

  • @ozzysangel np

  • To me it looks a little silver and black. It does kind of change shades when he moves it around

  • I don't understand the lori ball??? It kinda looks like a normal ball python to me

  • I was going to get a Cali King but after alot more thought and research im going to get a Ball Python.

  • we need a chewy ball and a brain ball now lol

  • how many grams should a ball python be before you can start to breed her? beautiful super lori

  • I feed my snake with feeding tongs and it knows right away when i stick them in the cage it is food time

  • hi brin my name is ian and i am 8 i like snakes

  • You guys are awsome!

  • Hey i live in timmins do u have a good place to buy a ball python

  • this is cool

  • whats the song in the beginning

  • How many times do u get bite in a day?

  • does any one want to buy a 50% het genetic stripe ball python?

  • how much?

  • hey how much and how old n were are you located

  • the super lori ball and the normal lori ball both look like an ant colony (sorry about the spelling) was on their sides

  • what time of year do ball pythons want to breed???

    best regards

    mark

  • should u feed ur snake in a diff cage then wt it lives in?

  • it does have its advantages if you are able to, the snake will not be alert and tempted to strike when you open his cage. He will get used to eating in that certain container and remain calmish (lol) until you place him in the eating bin, i believe the reason brian does not is purely the amount of numbers of snakes he houses it would be a ton of work.

  • yes

  • Yeah you should because if you fed it in the cage it lives in it will think every time you put your hand in, it will think its food

  • @jWilko88 false

  • i didnt

  • actually those drawers are a perfect size for those snakes. if anything they'll feel more secure in a tighter spot. if you have a 10-20 gal tank your gonna have to put something like a safety log in there for him/her to hide in, which thats all they're gonna do is hide in that little log in that huge 10-20 gal tank, if you dont have a hiding spot theyll get stressed out, so id rather go with those dark drawers with perfect temp.....like in the wild

  • Yeah...putting them in a little plastic box's is just like the wild?! Only the wild is like the wild!

  • and they wont live as long in the wild, too. so your right and im wrong those plastic boxes are better than the wild. theyre more adaptable, and more sanitary too. like i said, if you want, we can stop breeding them in captivity and damage the wild by taking them from there, like we USED to or we can let the wild thrive and we'll just breed in our homes which is 100% safe for the snake. if only you'd understand what your seeing.

  • Yeah...I guess b/c I disagree with you, I don't understand what I'm saying! How would you like to live a 3' x 3' plastic box?! Snakes were born to be wild and live in the wild...if you think they love your plastic box, you're kidding yourself. They need to hunt and survive on their own, not get a dead mouse tossed in their box. But hey, I hate snakes, so I'm not exactly getting too bent out of shape about it!

  • Life must be really interesting for you, your argueing about snakes and you dont even like them.....wow, and i thought ive seen it all. oh and comparison in size; i do live in a 3'x'3' box. but just remeber i'm making a lot of money off of snakes in little boxes that you dont like hahahaha

  • Ahh! That explains it! It's all about the money for you! It was pretty obvious you don't really care about your snakes. Thanks for clearing the air...and one last thing: your making so much money that you live in a 3' x 3' space?! I guess "lots of money" means different things to different people! Ya...good luck with all that....

  • a 3'x3' box with a boat outside and a bmw with a harley parked right next to it in the garage. and there's a lot of people who dont care about their animals, it doesnt mean they're neglected, i follow the SPCA laws and requirements (people who know more about snakes then you do), remember that the next time you sink your teeth into that nice cheeseburger; think about how much the owner loved that cow and how much money he made. take care, im gonna go ride my bike that my snakes bought for me

  • Wow...I'm impressed...NOT! You're bragging to me about money?! You are trying to compare yourself, and impress the wrong guy! I'm in a different league than you, trust me. Besides, people who talk about money, we'll, they usually don't have much! Maybe you should sell your Harley (not to me, I already have one) and your poor man's Mercedes, so that you can get into a place a little bigger than 3' x 3' !!! Hang in there kid, I'm sure things will pick up for ya real soon.

  • whatever you say old man. itll blow the doors off your minivan. and ya you are in a different league, i don't do that gay thing. lol

  • I can see where you'd disagree with how they keep their snakes, but the thing about snakes is that they're cold blooded, and would prefer to stay in one place so as not to expend energy hunting. You can observe that in the wild. They're not active hunters, they're ambushers, so they'll wait for their food to come to them. I myself have a boa, and though she lives in a nice sized cage, I notice her only occupying a small area of it. Snakes are content with basic needs.

  • Terrible care of the snakes, stuffed into tiny shelves...sad. I hope owning dangerous snakes is made illegal soon...in all places but legitimate zoo's.

  • those snakes are doing exactly what they do in the wild; lie in little dark holes and wait for food to come by. the unfortunate thing for you is that ball pythons aren't dangerous animals. youll get more damage being attacked by your dog or cat. maybe you should go do something more productive like save the whales.

  • Dogs are more dangerous than ball pythons. 33 people were killed by dogs in 2007 alone. There are no records of anyone dying from a ball python attack ever.

Even the larger constrictors have only killed 12 people in the U.S. over 29 years.

  • Perhaps statistically...but I would rather come home to any dog or cat over a snake...but that's just me!

  • @Fleefles

True Pythons are great, but dogs are waaaay more Common, of course it'll happen.. and Dogs are the most Domesticated animal there is.

  • @Fleefles your a idot

  • @Fleefles my puppy wiener dog bites me100 times a day...NOT ONCE have i ever been bitten by ANY SNAKE!

  • @Fleefles Want an even better true fact than that?

More people in the USA are killed by vending machines than all types of snakes.

  • Awesome ball pythons!!!

    PYTHON RULES!!

    congrat Bryan!!!

  • Dude you can't even spell and your suppose to be the "superior race" you proved my point for me

  • 150 snake as opposed to tens of thousands......yeah your right they all need 10-20 gallon tanks.....get the hell outta here with your ignorant comments nobody cares what you think oh and after looking at your profile I would like to let you know I'm a white guy who bangs black chicks and I love black people!!....how does that strike you?

  • ohhh ok....dumb ass

  • it kind of sucks to live in the only country in the world that got a total prohibition against snakes

  • Snakes illegal in Norway? Now that sucks!

  • Do they call him dr.Chewy cuz he looks like Chewbacca or is it just a freak coincidence?

  • how would you keep that many snakes if not in a drawer system

  • Hey Brian, I have a couple questions. One, where can I find a book on genetics? And why does that ahole think he can bash your wife for doing her job. She is just trying to keep you from spending everything on more snakes and snake stuff. I didn't have a wife I would have nothing but snakes from wall to wall. Kinda like your place LOL Well see you gus around.......

  • hey brian....im just wondering......ii got a 2 week old ball python and i have to asisit feed him.......im just looking 4 sum help wit tat.....thanks....ciaran

  • live or dead feeding?

  • im sorry to say but lori is a cold hearted boring totally emotionless BITCH just cant stress that enough brian still wonder how your still with that bich

  • I would absolutely love to work there.

  • how much is a Lori Ball? not the SUPER Lori just a Lori Ball and do u sell them on ur website?

  • hey brian. recently bought my ball python he is actually really tame i have him in a 3ftx4ft bin at the moment. but thing is that the heat pad i had underneath the bin melted my bin. and i was wondering if you could suggest a certain kind of bin thats inexpensive. right now i have a hot water bottle in his cage under his hide and he seems to like it but i need to get something new any suggestions?

  • if your bin melted its not your bin you replace thats very bad if that happend it is more than harmful to your snake

  • hey brian im going to by a snake from you (ball python) and are they agresive

  • ball pythons are actually very docile snakes and rarely bite

  • you have one to many snakes lol

  • I have a 3 year old ball, and was wondering how often you feed them (i want it to grow as big as, but still healthy) and if I should feed it rats. It feeds on live mice or small rats, once a week right now, and is almost 4 feet long.

  • i guess you could feed a 4 foot ball once every 2 weeks.

  • This also means that The Normal morph trait is Dominant to the Pastel morph which is recessive.

  • Lori/Super lori reminds me of an axanthic/ pewter.Love the super form.

  • wat does het mean i no it stands for heterozygous but wat does it mean

  • It means that they carry the specific gene for whatever morph it is...but shows no visible traits of the morph. So, say a ball python is Het for Pastel- it has the genes for a pastel, but looks like a normal ball python

  • I actually love that super Lori Python it's beautiful, I have to disagree that's a fantastic looking snake!

  • Thanks for liking it:) Brian(Sbtv)

  • i want a ball python but i'm not sure how to put them in a rubber maid like that, how do u keep the temperature up ?

  • We heat the rooms and then we have under heat for each cage as well. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Brian, Ive been watching the show for a year now. I thought this would be the best episode to bring up a morph you may have. I was on RDR and came across an un-proven trait called the viper ball. Ralph said that you had it.Whats up with it? It looks cool. Thatnks, Greg

  • Thnaks for watching for so long! The Viper never proved out to be genetic:( Looks like it was a really expensive cool looking normal:) Thanks again for the support! Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey snake bye tv can i breed my 13 year old snake at here age? and if so, can u tell me how to breed the? cuz my friends has a 3 year old male. but the male i think has sum ressesive phenotypes. i wanna kno the processs of mating. plz help.

  • my ball python is 13 years old now. her name's aurora. she's a normal mutation tho and i love her lol.

  • That's sweet! Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • I love that ball, especially its baby colours!!!!!!! but bees and spiders are still my faves

  • Thanks, make sure to tune in tomorrow, you have the comment of the week on this weeks show! Thanks for it:) Brian(Sbtv)

  • sweet!you do that!

  • I want a ball python! But my mom hates them!

  • I'll do a show to try to help you out. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • yo i talked my mom into getting one

    she likes it now

the most friendly snake out of all of them

tell her itll stay in ur room

and they are never agressive to people

  • i will try!i want one so bad!

  • yes ive never been bit

  • Here's a good idea:

Find all the information and care sheets you can on ball pythons, compose your own from all the information you got, wright a letter to your parents telling them why you deserve one and why they make good pets, include the care sheet and pictures. Show them your seriouse about it and that you'll take care of it. Works like a charm :)

hope you get one, snakes in general make awesome pets!

    -peace

  • i will do that!!!

  • hope it works!

  • me 2!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great stuff! I'll use the idea if I film a show on it. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • how much is the super lori???

    I WANT ONE
