  • I think it's a B.C Rich Ironbird Bass

  • long live ozzy and black sabbath!!!!!!!keep rocking and those about to rock i salute you

  • its weird to see 80's version of ozzy with sabbath but damn butlers's bass tone is awesome during this performance

  • I LOVE THAT BASS!!!

  • grande iommi con abbigliamento in pelle

  • Awesome performance. But the Ozzman looks way better with darker hair.

  • This is by far the best quality video and audio for this on You Tube but the intro by Chevy Chase is tacked onto the beginning as is the band's entrance. They opened the set with "Children of the Grave" followed by "Iron Man" and then this version of "Paranoid" must be from the official compilation DVD.

  • It fucking pissed off because sabbath is not doing gigs anymore with ozzy FUCK!!

  • @Ozzy9800 thank Geezer for that

  • should've performed at wembley, this crowd was horrible

  • OZZY - ultimate front man!!!!!!

  • @billyconnearly Well either Ozzy or Rob Halford!

  • Let's see you going fucking crazy!!! - long live Sabbath

  • Definately the best version, sound is good, picture is good

  • It 'wonderful! This video is beautiful! I did not know there was a concert LIVE AID July 13, 1985. It was eight days later, I born! Then I watched the videos on youtube and other photos of Black Sabbath! I often recall this and I can not ever forget! Three of Black Sabbath (Ozzy, Greez, Tommi) look that had followed the fashion in the eighties. Instead Bill no, he did not follow the fashion but it was better that way! Fashion is not important to anything! Bill had gone mad and had longer hair!

  • che che ... if you compare this video whit the early ones, when ozzy was still in Sabbath, theirs a huge difference... like, You can see that everybody on a stage just doing it, because it ''has to be done'' not because they enjoy it... Sad. Sabbath was one of the greatest bands ever, but after they split up, they could never sound the same again... oh well, they all had awesome careers after that anyway ;}} Thanks for the vid!

  • Geezer's a bit of a Geezer ;)

  • ERIC SINGER :D

  • @jah84 You have to remember mate, This is when Ozzy was battling serious drug addiction

  • Hate to say it,but this sucks!

  • i remember thinking back then im sweating my ass off how can they wearing jackets

  • OZZY!!!! you rule...

  • Apparently two retards accidentally hit the dislike button.

  • we can understand ozzy. no need for subtitles

  • @fastlambovette I didn't put them there.

  • Bill doesnt look twho good.

  • Respond to this video... dead, dude i was there at 13 i lived 2 blocks away this was before moshing was big but let me tell u bro that was a philly crowd and it was f*ckin nuts

  • Great performance! What happened to JFK Stadium? Random question.

  • JFK Stadium was closed in '89 after a Grateful Dead show for structural instabilities. It was demolished in 1992. There are now 3 new complexes in the old sites (Veteran Stadium was also demolished and the Spectrum is also scheduled for the wrecking ball.) Lincoln Financial Field (Eagles), Citizens Bank Park (Phillies) and the Wachovia Center (Flyers & Sixers) are now standing in their places.

  • Live Aid was a multi-venue rock music concert held on July 13, 1985 (1985-07-13). The event was organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for famine relief in Ethiopia. Billed as the 'global jukebox', the event was held simultaneously in London (82,000 people) and Philadelphia (99,000 people). It was one of the largest-scale satellite link-ups and television broadcasts of all time: an estimated 400 million viewers, across 60 countries, watched the live broadcast.

  • ´nice

  • is that bill ward on the drums ?

  • yes

  • @fredrik871223 Yes, that was the original Black Sabbath lineup.

  • It's funny how it's "featuring Ozzy Osbourne". Thanks for postin, great video.

  • @bkrbtlg08 It was listed as "Featuring Ozzy" because Ozzy had not been in the band for 5 years. Ronnie James Dio and Ian Gillian had already come and gone.

  • @bkrbtlg08 by then the rest of black sabbath had fired ozzy.

  • @bkrbtlg08 Might be 'cause they had kicked him out by then

  • great song

  • Great video! Just how I remember it, watching this live at my parents 25" Zeneth floor model TV.

    Thanks!!

  • JFK stadium looks like a desert. I'm gonna miss the Spectrum. but JFK looks like hell here. Why didn't they do this show at the Vet?

  • @kevmoney2make JFK was a much bigger venue.

  • i just noticed tonys using marshalls in this concert

  • Best quality on YouTube, thanks for posting.

  • yeah the crowd is lame... seems to be sleeping or some.. maybe it was too hot i dont know or too much on one day!? lamers anyways

  • @huswsimonbla remember.. this was dozens of artists on this show. Black Sabbath and Judas Priest were the only Metal bands who appeared in the Philly site. There were some other metal bands performing in London, I believe.

  • Iommi's guitar sounds a bit off tbh. Not sure if its out of tune. Might just be me.

  • 100 thousand people and the crowd is dead

  • Pretty much. :(

  • Yeah, Philly had Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin on the same day, and that crowd was still deader than a box of hammers. Any other city would have went absolutely nuts. Look at the London crowd that day, with Queen and U2 and the Who; they made the Philly crowd look like a funeral.

  • Well it was 100.F in the sun. We did our best. I'm Black Sabbath fan so I think the picture don't tell.

  • Well maybe

  • @kevmoney2make Most of them were there to see Madonna and other pop bands. The only other "heavy band" to play was Led Zeppelin with Phil Collins on drums.

  • @chemikiller Judas Priest was there too.

  • @kevmoney2make Cuz they were all high

  • WHOA Geezer has the most metal bass ever!

  • what a boring audience...

  • to bad ozzy aint as alive as he was before...

  • Geezer is pretty stylish. :)

    I like his Bass.

  • @GangstaLink BC RICH Iron Bird.

  • I like his pants.
