with the 420s the main problem with oversize tires is the irs version. it is geared really hight and can spin maybe a 27" with the standard sra you can spin 31"s like hondaguy off of highlifter forums. all he has is a pipe and clutch kit. i will run 29.5s on mine when i get it. it is also an sra so keep that in mind

Thing about the 420 rancher is they are not all the same. i have another friend that has one and he can barely turn 27's stock. dont know why the power is different from bike to bike. think he has a 2" lift. if you are going to be in thick sticky mud you would have to do some mods. at least a gear reduction.
no everyone i know have the solid rear axle. they are still different from bike to bike. saw a solid rear axle with 27" gorrilas and it would not turn them. hope you have one of the better ones. you will need a clutch kit to turn 29.5's in the mud we normaly ride in. not the stuff in this video. this is just some ruts with water.

yea he did but traded it for his tires but when he had alot of overheating probs and it started smoking a tiny bit wen he crunk it up n still does that and still runs hott really bad

ive run 26 super swampers on it with no mods and it did fine so i think it'll be ok

prob in the sloppy stuff. might be to much in the thick stuff. i had a 400 big bear on 26" outlaws and they were to much in the clay.
