I watched this fight. The fact is Frank shamrock prides himself at being able to beat damn near everyone he fights at their own game. If they're strikers he will strike with them if they're grapplers he will grapple. The guy is a genius. Unfortunately in this fight Cung Lee was a little better in the striking and broke Franks's arm. THIS IS THE ONLY REASON IT LOOKS LIKE FRANK GAVE UP YOU DUMBSHITS. I agree with crazyjitsu. It was a great battle. Frank was a man of his word and stood up to fight one of the best strikers I have seen and did a damn good job. I have seen Cung make fighters look really bad, but this fight was exactly what you want to see, two of the best going toe to toe. This is my favorite fight, mma or ufc.

As much as I'm a fan of Cung Le, I think this fight might go to Shamrock. Le used to fight in K1 but is pretty new to ground games but Shamrock's ground games are vicious! Shamrock's been in fights with very little rules. Anybody would be considered a good fighter if they could last even one round against Shamrock. I hear one person say Shamrock will get this fight in just the first round. Who knows.
