The private part i don't think can be trusted, but the idea making a display composed of a static single line of pixels that depends on the motion of the viewer is quite interesting.
Have you studied if it would work when applied on the side of the road for advertisement to drivers? How about mounting on the side of a vehicle and driving around? Might also work in the walls of subway tunnels :)
