As much as I like this one, It still doesn't change the fact that it should be disqualified. It was uploaded on April 1. The submission due date was March 31. God, this competition is so corrupt.

@Ultrareallism here's what happened: with the craziness of production i overlooked the contest deadline was EASTERN time not PACIFIC time! on March 31st @ 8 o'clock a friend informed me that I only had til 9:00! so I uploaded a low quality video because that would upload faster, and submitted that on time. there were no rules as to what quality the vids had to be, so i made the deadline and the Hobo guys were understanding. HD takes a while to export & upload, so that's why it says April 1st.

@uneveneagle I actually said nothing about the baby, don't know where u got that from. What i meant was Van Gore was actually able to maintain high aesthetics while still being a classic grindhouse movie. CCS is awesome too, just my preferences.

Oh, and about this Color Me Blood Red thing going on. First of all, killer-artist is a very popular concept. Second of all, the movies dont actually have that much in common, so i dont see what all the fuss is all about. Cheers.

@uneveneagle Yeah totally! We managed to get in the top 5 with Van Gore, but I am totally shocked this didn't get in. In fact I think its pretty unfair, they should have just rejected anything over 2:30 and given people the benefit of the doubt. If people like yourself or us were able to make a 4:30 film which is double the time then things maybe completely different. Totally get this everywhere you can, even make it into a full film or short. Its really good!
