Great Video :). Teachers encourage and support their students every day to learn and gain skills for life. This helps students to achieve their goals successfully.
Just wanted to thank the many viewers and comments that we have received on this video. More than a year ago, we wanted to find a way to thank teachers around the world for their dedication--hence this beautiful video. We are all teachers. We are all students. And by helping one another realize the potential in the other, we realize our own. When I read the comments that you have posted, my heart is filled with immeasurable gratitude. Thank you for sharing our message around the world.

@connectedtyla thank you so much for this video. got my students to perform to this video during teacher appreciation day and many loved it! love the message behind it.
Woah....this really inspired me. even though i spend half my life thanking teachers and people call me a teachers pet, i dont care what people think teachers do so much for us and they deserve a thankyou and sometimes, maybe even a big hug (:
Video really motivating for teachers!! they need to be motivated, and more apreciatted otherwise they will not have the ability to motivate children which I think it is their essential job in our 21st century. I have begun with this task in Spain, where teachers feel they are not loved. With such a video, we will try to raise their enthusiam towards the changes our education system needs (emotional education, personal growth resources and technological improvements)
For this video...a teacher is mostly everything in our life, even though you hate your teacher.he sacrifices everything in life just to teach children...so the ones who disliked htis video, have shame!!Cause 1 day he or she might be gone...then you'd cry your eyes out.
To travel to achieve it. So all in all, what I'm saying is this teacher made me believe I can do things that I've never dreamt before. I owe it all to him. Thank you, so much
Everyone has that teacher, right? Where even though they're not your teacher anymore, you still look at them as a role model. I just had a teacher these past 2 years in school, that changed my life forever. He made me believe that know matter what happens in life, nothing is impossible, and with hope, hard work, and perseverance, you can accomplish anything life throws at you. Because of him, I know where I'm wanting to go to college, how much work it's going to take, and the bumpy rode I have

@Edu723 Check out the posting dates from both videos. The Thank a Teacher video was posted before the waiting for superman video. Not really sure how either could be plagiarism considering both companies probably took several months to develop the videos even before posting.
I feel proud and privileged to be a teacher! In some some small way I'm helping change the world for a better tomorrow, by making a difference in my students' lives. helping them become the leaders of tomorrow!
I feel proud and privileged to be a teacher! In some some small way I'm helping change the world for a better tomorrow, by making a difference in my students' lives. helping them become the leaders of tomorrow!
We shouldn't exagerate the deeds done by the teachers. One should answer the following question frankly: Who is less valuable? Doctors, judges, policemen, firemen, ...? Every profession is valuable. Then why do we exalt ourselves?
I have had teachers who inspired me. Unfortunately there were far too few. Being a former public school teacher I worked with only a small handful who were passionate about their profession. Teachers can make an incredible difference. I feel many don't. All you have to see is the documentary "Waiting for Superman" and the rubber room in NYC. Our educational system is in need of a dramatic overhaul. I only wish we had more teachers like the one that I had at UC Berkeley.
This is a great video! I am in an Education program and sometimes the classes drag on, but watching this reminds me of all the great things that will come with my job! I can't wait to get out there and help my future students go through through life!
A touching sentiment, it is true that teachers rarely get the recognition they deserve. What's up with 0:36 though? "Before he even sees it in himself". Is this video about teachers in the 1880's? Get a clue!!
@cooliemccoolface This is proper grammar - not meant to be sexist This "sexist" statement is meant to be taken as unisex. The "romance" languages suffer this much more than English - for example, when addressing a mixed crowd one uses the masculine form of the word. This his/her he/she stuff is more about being Politically Correct since many people take these English language shortcuts to be exclusionary rather than arbitrary simplification.
Beautiful, powerful video. I am sending to my friends who are teachers. And remembering Sister Suzanne, who gave me my love for writing when she handed out huge photos from Life magazine & asked us to write a little story about it... in 2nd grade, no less. And Sister Kinnamon, who always saw the brightness in me. And my algebra teacher who made math feel like solving a detective mystery. Thank you for reminding us what is possible!
Teachers are simply prepared and mind programmed to do the same to the children, program them into believing theories like evolution are "science" or that dinosaurs died out 100 millions of years ago while in fact most of them died out 8000 years ago. Some survived, the crocodile is a dinasaur. Earth never was "one big continent and the rest was water". The earth was smaller and had only rivers but then by expanding, lava and water came out and filled the space between the expanding gaps=oceans.
@LarryT11 The fact that scientist are right when they say "earth is round", or "pi is more or less 3.1415926..." that they also are right about other hipotesis. If CNN tells you it is a hot day, and then "Sadam Hussein is hiding weapons of mass destruction", are both statements correct? Darwin proposed we came fron ape but he also wrote evolution requires mutations of a specie's genes, which he never observed, but "probably occured in the past by some mysterious force"... yeah, very scientific.
What a coincidence! today our new chemistry teacher was talking about students who succeeded at year 12 last year, and have been sent to some of America's universities by our country's government, but one of them came to school and kissed the teacher's head and thanked him very much after he realized that the teacher himself was a grace, and he was a reason for his success, even though he had punished him numerously and was mean at school...
@abd2get This is why we created the video. It is a "kiss" on every teacher's head who inspired us to our greatest achievements. Your thoughtful comment made our efforts a joy.

Yes, SonsOfGod. It's unbelievable what scientists want us to believe.
They want to replace Alchemy and the Four Humors with Chemistry and the Periodic Table.
They want to replace the FACT our Earth is FLAT (just look at the horizon--FLAT!) with this crazy idea that the Earth is round.
Then these SCIENTISTS expect us to believe the Earth revolves around the Sun. crazy!
And don't even get started on Evolution replacing "Intelligent Design" and Gravity replacing "Intelligent Falling".
