I've never been to WDW so I dont know much about it like Disneyland, but I acutally got scared for you. >.> I would never have to guts to do that no matter how much I love Disney history, not even walk up the open exit pathway for the Skyway Station in Fantasy Land.
(cont.) The "cast training" that goes on up there is called Basics Training. Basically just teaches about the basics of customer service. Easy waste of a few hours that every CM is required to take. Also, during hours the Garden Grill is open the third floor is also used for Mickey and the gang to change into their outfits for their character dinners ;) if you catch my drift. So thats why they'd be super uptight about the area. Other than that not too much else up there.
Ready for this? Okay! I was a custodial CM at epcot this past fall for my CP! Lucky you didn't get caught, right when you step out the elevator to the left there is an office for some lady named Jill. The window you can see out into The Land aren't one-way, just severely tinted. You saw how it went in a big circle at the end of the hall? In the middle there's a conference room, a restroom, a little kitchen area, another elevator (cast only for the Garden Grill) and some stairs. (to be cont.)
This is some really cool shit! It would be really cool to hear how you got to press the 3rd floor button and gain access, but its totally understandable if you don't want to share that information.
Again, nice videos, you are one of the few subscriptions I have ever had on youtube in 6 years. Be proud.
do you think if you get caught you'd actually get in 'trouble'? just say your curiosity got the best of you and that you're just a tourist checking it out lololol
@MetalDuckOnline Probably not for some of my other adventures, but for this one, yeah, I'd get into trouble. Mainly because there's no legit way to get up there by mistake....
@Costerguy1234556 Nope, but I might get some on my next trip. It's very easy to find - it's on the right side of the entryway. Just chained off right now.
@DarkSideDisney I actually found some info on that area of the queue. It was gonna be used for the VIP lounge but when HP took over they shrunk it and made it a part of the line instead.
@Costerguy1234556 Yeah, Nestle sponsors it now. It's possible Nestle employees are allowed up there, but I'm not sure how access would be granted.... There's no "front desk" like there is at the other VIP lounges.

Oh and one last thing: in the book you said you found an abandoned portion of the queue line in <:S, do you have any footage of that?

@DarkSideDisney I think Chiquita took over sponsership recently. Not sure if it was for the whole pavilion or just Living With The Land boat ride.

@fixedgearjerk That's true! I'm not sure, either....

Oh fuck yes. Thanks for the footage. Wasn't it used as an AP lounge a few years ago?
Costerguy1234556 1 month ago
@Costerguy1234556 That's what I heard, but I don't think they've done that for 3-4 years now.
