From what I can remember, it was a very successful series as long as you had one of the Dodges. I'm not saying that as a Dodge guy either. The other manufacturers didn't really support the program like Dodge did, so they didn't see very good results. Once the Dodge guys found they were just racing themselves, they kind of bailed out too.
Those Dodges were killer fast! I want one! Wouldn't it be great to have one of these things to do some club racing?
LOL yeah Rob, it was called the NATCC. Was supposed to be a support series for the IndyCar Series. Only survived its inaugural 1996 season and the '97 season. I guess cost and poor competition turnout was the main problem.

What ? I never new North America had touring car series like the BTCC, DTM etc ! This is a 1st for me ! Any more info or website on this ?

I think it folded. We still have SCCA Pro World Challenge, which has a Touring class.
