@videogamecollecto100 I don't think it's fair to compare this game to a PS2 or PS3/360 game. Yes they're all Transformers games, yes this was an awful game, but this was years ago. Best way to compare this is with Metroid on the NES.

Also, there's 4 Transformers games on the PS2: the G1 game that was only released in Japan (which was made by the same company and, in turn, sucked ass as well), the Armada game (which was alright IMO), and the two games based on the two Michael Bay films.

This was a very difficult Famicom game, because it was released in 1986, to compete along with a bunch of other extremely challenging games released the same year, like Japan's SMB2 (a.k.a. The Lost Levels), Atlantis no Nazo, Takeshi no Chousenjo and Milon's Secret Castle.

I like this game, if you don't play like an idiot, and actually dodge things, it aint too hard. Most people who bash it just blindly agree with everything the AVGN says :P The AVGN is hilarious, but his reviews aren't to be taken seriously. This is a good game if you practice at it. Cool commercial btw

@Galaga135 I've seen reviewers who reviewed this game LONG before AVGN did it (that includes myself) and we all agree that the game is terrible. We didn't complain that it was hard. We complained that it was so poorly designed, that it takes the patience of Ghandi's to beat that frustrating and horrible game. Not to mention this game is known for one of the WORST endings in a video game. Probably worse than Ghostbusters on the NES.

Comvoy No Nazo lacks any and all polish...it's like they got a license and made no effort to design good gameplay. Battletoads is great. Comvoy is fucking broken.

The US and the UK already had the movie, so there was no point in releasing this game.

You know, as much as I liked that review and even though Spax3 caused some fiasco and drama before he left, I find Spax's review to be funnier than AVGN's review, and that review was way back in 2007 when Spax3 was still a cool guy before the drama. He actually acted like he was real pissed at the game and I loved it when he said "GOD FUCKING DAMMIT! THAT WAS TOTALLY UNFAIR! IT BLENDED WITH THE MOUNTAINS! Cheap graphics."

But that was then, this is now. Spax3 will never be that funny again. :-(

If I had to choose between listening to the Dinibots yapping around while listening to Kup's longest story while hearing Blurrs fast talk, Wheelies rhyming, Wreck Gar's gibberish, Kicker's bitching (that kid from Energon), Blaster's loud music, animated Ratchets complaining, Hot Rod and Arcee flirting, Warpaths puns, and Perceptor's randomness, all day, 10 times OR play this game... No they were never one in the same. And they didn't release the movie until the 90's, but they released Transformers: 2010 which was a dub of Season 3. And if that was the case, Rodimus Convoy would not be the leader in the Japanese version.

Oh and the translation is actually "Mystery of Convoy".
