I'm not sure I agree with your premise for this video. There is likely to be a war happening somewhere at any given time, but we are not all at war all the time. I have never taken part in war, and most places in the world are not currently at war. We just hear about the places that are a lot more.
I honestly don't think it is possible for us to end war. Though I would love to be proven wrong.
But, I think, as long as one "part of the world"/nation/population/some-better-term believes that there is something worth fighting wars for, there will be war. And even though I can't quite comprehend why some people would choose war, I do think that there will always be those who think it is the better alternative.
I really want to say yes. I want to believe that there will be an end to war. My rational side however tells me that the instinct of always wanting to rise to power within humans is too strong for there to ever be peace.
I would say that for it to ever be any kind of peace we first need to get rid of weapons, which sadly in today's society is impossible. Without weapons and means of destruction, there would be no such thing as war, there would be disagreements yes, but not war.
To end all conflicts would mean that all people would really have to focus on others and not their own interests and be completely and utterly selfless in all goals. That's probably impossible, but I do wish it could happen, sometimes. That kind of empathy is not human, and I want to be human.
I say no. I don't think warfare will ever be completely abolished. See, as a country, or even a continent we can decide that we will no longer participate in war, but that's the best we'll be able to do. There are battles being fought that we as a civilization here don't know. People are dying as we sit here and debate the possibility of ending it. And it will never stop because humans are greedy and selfish. That nature can't be changed unless every single person on the planet makes a consciou
I feel like war will always be there, just because it's in our evolutionary background to show dominance over others by attacking them. It's almost like an instinctual thing we got going on. If we overcome our ancestral habits, then we overcome war. However, I don't think that will happen anytime soon... By the way, your voice is just amazing! It's so eloquent!
As a pragmatist I say no. I would guess that the majority of people in the world would support peace. However, there are those amongst the population who crave power, are able to bend others to their will through force or threat of violence, and there are the propagandists who allow them to. But because of those people are our relativity inability to stop it, the world will always have war. Depressing to think about.
One day we may end war, but I suspect that if that ever happens we'll see a lot more sports riots like the one in Vancouver last year. :(
Were this a Shakespearean play and not a video blog, I would think that you purposefully wore a red shirt and had the only other colour in the video be the red in the picture behind you lol. Am I thinking too much into it?
Peace was never an option.

The answer is seemingly difficult to come up with, despite being a "yes/no".
There will be always disagreements (putting it lightly). It's when disagreements tip over the violence scale that wars happen.
Let those in power be peaceful and tolerant. Then there might be time enough to resolve disagreements without resorting to violence.
I think the more frightful prospect is whether the end of war means the end of humans, because it'll be the last thing we do...

s decision to share and to love one another. But since that is virtually impossible, I say no, war can not be abolished.

Possible? Yes, but it is improbable.

I don't think there will ever be an end to war unless everyone in the world decides to be a Hufflepuff XD

War is the natural state of the state. End the state, end war by definition. But anti-statist philosophy is in no way the mainstream at the moment.

I have nothing productive to say, but I do love how this video's thumbnail is like, "Grr, war!"
