  • beautiful song, stevie the king of music

  • Greatest Love Song. EVER.

  • Just beautiful, what a classic...there's no one like you, Stevie <3

  • This is how my sweetie told me he loved me. Anniversary soon--13 yrs married. Love him so much. :)

  • A tribute to Sneaky Pete's pedal steel guitar playing that matches Stevie voice perfectly. Sneaky passed away, but his contribution to the Pedal steel guitar is enormous. Than to Stevie for recognizing an instrument that is not part of the regular pattern of rock songs. This tune is perfect and god bless Stevie for having the courage to include this wonderful instrument in his music.

  • @eightstring

  • I love this song. I could listen for hours <3

  • Hats off to Johnnie Walker! Stevie Wonder connaisseur!

  • listening to this song always brings me an "attack of nostalgia"

  • I didn't know he was the original artist until months ago. I had only heard Jody Watley's. The originals always sound the best. Don't get me wrong I like hers also, but he really gets spiritual with the song.

  • Man, I had forgotten all about this joint. Another Stevie Classic.

  • This song is so sweet and very beautiful to listen to it. Just listening to it is vintage Stevie Wonder!! I truly love him!! Amazing and very brilliant singer indeed!!

  • Astonishingly beautiful...not really simple; it just sounds that way.

    Stevie you're a genius.

  • I've noticed that this whole album is sort of...depressing, actually...

  • @mistersimonfletcher Have you noticed the giggle at 00:8 ?

  • @safari555able Yes, I think it's a woman, I don't know.

  • 1974 criteria, Stevie Wonder and this album makes me feel more than special to have grown up in Detroit. Crying to these songs doesn't do his music justice, his musics truly is a gift from beyond this world..

  • Wiow what a beautiful song and Stevie's as talented as He'll always be.

  • When you take into account how young he was when he put out these albums (referring to the "golden" period - 1972-1975), it's really remarkable. These albums were masterpieces.

  • Love.........at it's purest, is what this is all about.

  • such a beautiful song 1st time i heard it i started to cry in front of my friends some thug i am

  • Just out of curiosity I checked out this site to see if Stevie has a video and was dissappointed to see there was none , but am glad to see that a lot of people still appreciate this song(trip down memory lane) like I do. This is a mega classic!Outstanding song, will forever be loved by those touched by it, with its simple but straight forward lyrics and the most beautiful melody ever created by a human being in this lifetime.

  • every time i hear this song it just makes my heart skip a beat and keeps me filled with love and desire to giving love back, Love you Stevie Wonder

  • . I've had so many people talk about the hits of Stevie that got played on the radio and I would have to let them know, that if that is all you heard of Stevie, then you haven't really heard the real Stevie yet. If you just buy one of his records it's always been one of those you can just put on and let play to the end, over and over. The man is magis=c and I'm glad God brought him to us to hear his music. Thanks again Johnniewalker23.

  • Well said and stated. So right, his albums far surpassed the commercialization of his hits. Great post.

  • Thanks Phill90212, I know you know what I'm talking about. I'm a musician and keyboard player myself, so I was even more inspired than most. He was one of the first if not the first to use synth's in his music and I used to listen to all of those little eerie melodies and whine's and subtle background tones and just be floored at how he could come up with those type of things along with all his other magic. Very God gifted human being.

  • I want to thank you Johnniewalker23 for posting these Stevie greats. I lost my home and all possessions including a tremendous album collection in which I had everything Stevie recorded, in Hurricane Katrina and finally here is someone posting the real Stevie.

  • I remember when my heart echoed this song; I never did win the woman's heart, and now she's long gone out of my reach.

Such a sentiment doesn't detract from the song's magic (or 'wonder'), though; to me, it adds even more meaning and depth to it.

  • STEVIE WONDER: THE MOVIE!!!

  • I 2nd that motion!

  • notion mate, peace

  • This song makes me tear everytime, it's ultra sweet. All his music feels like blessings come true in the most abundant form..He's so beyond his existence in his music.Thanx Stevie! I love you

  • Every man wishes he could sing this song to his woman -- especially me...

  • GREATEST MUSICIAN EVER

  • Happy 59th Stevie!

  • Khismet1 is this song brings you to tears you should then I know you love joy inside my tears. I play that song when things don't turn out right but I am still glad it happened.

  • This one reaches into your heart until the tears come bubbling forth...can't help but to cry everytime I hear this song...breath~taking.

We've been truly blessed with Stevie and his songs.

  • Stevie, is the best! In my opinion, no other artist will be able to duplicate or emulate his style...it's completely timeless!

  • Yup, I'm not a big fan of some of his work in the 80s and early 90s but he is definitely the most talented musician in modern music in my opinion.

  • this song is 35 years old...he was 24 when he released it...I'm 37 & still cry when I hear this......Stevie is KING

  • Steveland Hardaway Judkins Morris born on May 13, 1950, - Nothing has changed certified genius.

  • This song is so full of feeling...and the words are so simple yet to deep and true of EVERY first love... Stevie is one of the Musical geniuses of our time! Stevie we love you!

  • Stevies says it so well.

  • I'm a music student and I think we ought to learn about Stevie's genius, not just Mozart's other dead white guys. (ha ha)

  • this song is the best. the way it goes right into 'boogie on reggae woman' is so cool---from this sublime romantic piece to a funky work of art. only stevie.

  • I'll propose to my queen while this song is playing.

  • Donny h. or paul mc. could have sang this song!

    Great music stevie

  • Everytime I listen to a track from this album I post a message saying it is my favourite.

  • Damn him for getting under our skin like this!

  • This is by far my favourite Stevie song and the main reason i think this album is underrated is because alot of the songs will be rejects from the first 3 lps

  • This is such a moving tune. I remember being a pre-teenager listening to this and wondering if I or someone would ever say these words to me...what a beautiful way to say I really love you~

  • Always brings a lump to my throat listening to this.

  • this is one of stevie's most underated albums! FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC ALBUM
