  • FABULOUS!

  • They are all alive which is happy; think Spanky and our Gang, to name one group, and they sound GREAT!

  • The Jurassic crew!!

  • I wonder what the rest of the set would consist of? Encores of this same song?

  • One of my all-time favorite songs!

  • Always loved the Rickenbacker sound on this song.

  • In 1965 I had a LOT of woes to bind. This song helped. Thank you We Five.

  • fucking stellar! Wish is was Beverly. Debbie did amazing tho!

  • @jcabanaw I agree!

  • great job no matter what people say

    awsome

  • How do these people do it, call themselves We Five ? Where's the drums? That was the best part of this song!!!! Check out Suzanna Hoffs' version of this song on youtube, it rocks!!!

  • Debbie doesn't even come close to Bev. She just doesn't have the sound of the 'soul' that Bev did.

Not knocking her or anything, but it is not Bev.

    Joseph F

BTW, did you know that the original "We Five"

were the first electric band out of the SF Bay area?

  • Awesome reunion vid! Memories!! Just needs more cowbell.

  • No, it's not Bev Bivens (Marshall) but she can harmonize so well who cares? ... it's about the Song and not necessarily about the Singer.

  • @hammerogod This lady is good and has a direct, historical connection to the We Five. But sorry. Bev Bivens has an utterly unique voice that is most certainly "about the singer." She is back, BTW. Hopefully we'll hear more of Bev soon.

  • Try watching Equipe 84 Io ho in mente te

  • This is a horrible knock-off of what was a great song by a great band. It has none of the joy, fun, and spark of the original. They may call themselves "We Five", but they are not.

  • with only one member of the original band in this combo it's a bit of a stretch for them to call themselves We Five

  • You can catch Debbie Burgan, Debbie Graf as she was, in a cracking little video, "Good for Nothing Bill" when she was in a group called 'The Legendaires' way back in the sixties! Check it out folks! I think it's great!

  • OK ! this isn't Bev.! Where is she?

    Bev made the band.

  • this is Debbie Burgan....wife of Jerry burgan, original guitarist......she sounds like a man.....definitely not Bev...

  • This isn't Bev Bivens? Too Tall

If it is she is great. are they the original musicians?

    Thank You

  • What a classic oldie tune! Thanks!

  • What A Treasure ... thak you so much for this Vid.

  • She has still got it!

  • "She" is not "her." This lady is a fine singer. She is NOT Bev Bivens. Who, miraculously just resurfaced in San Francisco after 40 years...

  • Sounds great. Good job by all. Love this song.

  • Awesome. Thanks.

  • Not entirely acoustic. I see 2 electric guitars. Great vocals and sound.

  • Not a bad cover but no Bev Bivens on lead so not as good as it could have been.

  • whatever happened to Biv? I love her voice. i have both we 5 records and nothingelse. is she stil alive?

  • Bev is only in her early 60's and still around. She was only a baby when she was with we five.

  • This lady singing lead is possibly Jerry Burgans' wife Debbie. Jerry reformed We Five at a later stage it's certainly not Bev Bivens.

  • It is defibitely Debbie Graf Burgan on the lead. Bev Bivens left the band after the second album. The band made 2 or 3 more albums and has been touring sporadically since then,

  • No Bev, then it ain't the 'we five' jmho

  • We Five were Peter, Paul & Mary on 11.

  • You're an idiot. This was an acoustic jam, thus no drums. And these "old" people can run circles around some of these so called singers of today. Grow up.

  • Debbie and Jerry are great people! I played bass and sang for them back in the 70's. Spent lot's of time on the road with them, which, I'm pretty sure contributed to Jerry's hair loss.. Lot's of fond memories of many wonderful moments...

  • Brings back many memories

Thanks for posting, a blast from the past

  • If you're a We Five fan. the new CD "There Stands the Door" is now out. A very worthwhile buy, both for the music and the insert, which tells their story in detail...

  • Where is Bev Bivens? The WORLD demands to know...

  • Enjoying being a grandmother in Berkeley, I assume!

  • Yes. She is in Berkeley at last report. She needs to come back and sing for us... what a waste of a wonderful talent and voice.

  • On the plus side, a new We Five CD is out at the end of February featuring some never-before released tracks from the original group. Looking forward to that!

  • Wow!!! That's incredible news. Thank you. Anymore details?

  • It's from the official We Five website.

Click on "interactive". Lots of pictures, too!

  • Hi dahur:

Jerry Burgan is the only original member of We Five still with the group and the female singer these days (and for most of the group's existance) is his wife Debbie...

  • Yep, it would have...but I suspect she prefers to remain incognito. From what I gather, it hasn''t been all wine and roses for her. But what a singing voice!

  • Comment removed

  • Amen to that...

Same age, same reaction. The best singer most people have never heard about...

FYI, a new We Five CD is coming out at the end of February with a blend of old and new including some never-before released tracks from the original group. Check out We Five's official website and click on "interactive"... :)

  • ...an Jerry Burgan's the guy on the right with the hat...

  • Thanks, I was wondering about that.

I think the never before released tracks from the original group make it worth it. I'll pick one up-thanks.

  • The closer I look, the guy in the white hair on the left looks more like Jerry to me.

  • I may be wrong but I believe that's Terry Rangno on the left.

  • definitely Terry Rangno, 40 years with WeFive, also a child actor star Somebody Up There Likes Me, countless tv shows, Red Skelton, Elizabeth Montgomery Variety Hour etc

  • Thanks! Wow, what a busy career!!

  • Bev called me, said, "Hugo, go write a comment on Youtube telling that ole dahur to leave me alone." :^)

  • This is fine !!

  • They sound amazing!!! Love HER voice!

  • Love the vocals. Hmmmm the good old days and songs.....yeah We Five.

  • It ain't Bev but damnnn...they sure as hell sound great<<<<

  • Comment removed

  • It sure ain't. Bev was magical, but this lady does a nice job.

  • I sure miss the old days of vocal groups...

  • Great! Keep on keeping on We Five! You will

always be timeless and fresh. True talent and

cheery spirit will never die. You all look and

sound fantastic. Wish I had been at this show.

I cherish your music so much.

  • U Rock Uncle T
